"Whatever her condition is. That vial contains... I... I have the urge to destroy it..."

 

"Poison? You know they were addicted to poison once."

 

"Abigail and Stephanie showed no signs of that, though. I'm not sure if poison is a fitting name..."

 

"Well, what is it then?"

 

"I don't know, but my instinct is telling me to destroy it... It's a danger to me."

"That sums it up, though we've always had a love-hate relationship. I was known widely as the one true judge, the perfect third party that deemed right or wrong. She was more revered as the protector; the destroyer of what I deemed corrupt. Still, we enjoyed the few spare moments we had with each other."

 

"What if Virei'tus doesn't leave them? No, the better question is, what would it take to make him leave them?"

 

"Then we have problems. He's one of our gods; he knows how to protect us... but that also means he knows our every weakness. I'm not sure what we'd need to get him distracted... Perhaps a diversion?"
