Void Rift (rp) - Intermission

"Right. I'll get another two squads then we'll go."
The dragon walks off.
Guess it's you, corpses, and an unconscious Xlentia.

You can hear her suddenly inhale. She must be recovering.

 

"I have no one to tell. Lead the way."

"Kalais, Zethes, please-"

"On it."

A fast wind picks up and Khione dissolves into it. The wind seems to follow Vei's course.

 

I examine Xlentia.

 

"Beep boop beep beep boop," I say, poking my hand, "Oh! I know who you are! My wispidex says YOU'RE PART OF THE OFFENSIVE TRYING TO TAKE RAGNYON!" I shout. My voice causes the ground to shake slightly.

"I don't have something against wisps, I have something against people trying to infiltrate us and steal Ragnyon," I say, "And I know who he is. His name is You'll find out in time, and he's working against us."

 

OOC: I COULD say that the wisp is somehow related to Vir...but nah

 

She leads you to where Aj and Artemis seem to be fighting a wisp.
"I heard they were going to attack... I'm nervous. If you'd seen the chain marks on my physical body, you'd see why."

Vei's pretty much running around and going on a rampage - if it has a weapon, she's slicing it until Khione isn't sure what it used to be.

She's a giant dragon. Seems she's breathing again, but she's still not moving. Much; she's breathing.

"You're... kind of ridiculous." The wisp says before fading.

"You know my name. You know all three of them. You met them, you were friends with them..."
The wisp reappears as a familiar warhammer. Behind it stands a white scaled, white robed, four-winged draconian who's marginally taller than Ragnyon was.
"And you just mortally wounded my sister. There's that too."

"Xlentia, are you awake?"

A flower sprouts. "Oh hello, Vir."

 

"Jesus christ could you be a bit clearer? Questions: Are you with us or against us, Who are you, who is your sister I just 'Mortally Wounded'." I say, frustrated.

Artemis looks around for any fallen allies.


OOC: Forgot about chess.
"Good game! You were quite good for someone who's never played before." Katie says, shaking Ragnyon's hand.

"Want to play again, or do you want to play something different?" Katie asks, smiling.

 

Her tendrils move slightly, but she doesn't open her eyes.

After a couple minutes, she lets out a deep moan.

"Hello to you again."

"I am likely with you. I will let the next response answer this for me. My sister is Xlentia."
Nobody's hurt. Ihra snickers at you.
Ragnyon's spirit body goes back underground.

"There's nobody there. The Judge is alive and can protect me."
Her two forms merge.
"I enjoyed the game, thanks, but I'm rather fond of sunlight. Makes me feel a little less miserable."

 

The flower whispers to Vir, "By the way, your sister is breathing."

 

"That's... good news. Your method may be questionable, but there's an honorable side to you."

 

"Oh, you're her delusional brother," I say, "Grape Juice was it? Anyway, unless I gave your sister an overdose of 'Feels' with my words, I haven't touched her at all. Had she not erased Crelucium That B*tch then things might've been drastically different."

"Now, as to not contradict myself, I will say I simply talked to Xlentia. I didn't attack her." I add.


Katie walks over to, and jumps into, the pool in the middle of the cave. She surfaces a moment later, "Lets go, then." Katie says happily.

 

"Delusional? You must be mad! She's the one mind controlled."
The hammer reverts to a wisp that flies around you.

Ragnyon hobbles over to the pool, sliding in.

 

"She seemed pretty adamant about calling you that, but then again, she is corrupt. Not all the way through, though." I say. Shadow Katana reamains unsheathed and held ready.

Artemis seems distrustful, "Why do you want Ragnyon, Grape Juice?" Artemis asks, unable to hide her smile after what she said.


Katie helps Ragnyon into the pool, before swimming down, then up. She makes her way through a fairly linear path of tunnels back, swimming rather quickly and holding on to Ragnyon.

 

"Virei'tus, if you wouldn't mind." He seems unfazed by the nickname.
"Ihra, there were broken chains on my sister. Might that have any significance to you?"
"Yes, actually. Ragnyon is alive - she had pretty bad chain marks on her wrists, ankles, and neck."
"Then Ragnyon is the prisoner I heard those in Xlentia's palace discussing. They're in disarray."

"I wonder why they haven't come yet..."

 

"I tried healing her, but there seems to be some kind of null magic preventing the chain marks from healing." Artemis adds.

"I believe that's what we're going to be fighting. It's why I'm like this; apparently these people in disarry are coming for us." I say.

Katie surfaces in a nearby pool with Ragnyon.

 

"I believe the chains have simply indented her scales in such a way magic will not affect those wounds. I wish her fate would have been better, but I judge."
He glances at Ragnyon.
"Prophet, you are as surprised as I am."
"This day keeps getting crazier..."
"Welcome to the Resistance all over again."
They both chuckle nervously.

 

OOC: Oh well, so much has happened once again XD. I'll just reply to current events in Xlentia's palace.

"Seems that she's starting to wake up at least. I wonder where Entropy went though."

 

OOC: Virei'tus would've thrown you aside anyways.

He uncloaks near you.

 

"Well, he's gone... for now at least..."
