Vei's blades erupt to three times their size, radiating intense amounts of energy as she darts away from the cave.

 

"I guess you charged it with too much magic..." Stephanie says, observing what remians of the crystal.

"Well, this is a nostalgia trip and a half." I say through Ragnyon, supplying her with my own energy.

OOC: Thirteen = Cool Dude in my book.

 

"I know you mean well, but would you please stop being inside me?"
"It is a bit creepy, but we should be preparing for what's coming."

 

"If people are coming to kidnap, or kill, Ragnyon, it's best I stay empowering her. If they attempt to kill her, I can heal her wounds instantly. If they kidnap her, I could then stop empowering her, go for a surprise strike and hopefully free her," I say through Ragnyon, "I don't know how much they know about us, but if I'm not plainly present, then I have a chance at the element of surprise."

Abigail transforms back to normal, preferring her more agile human form over her larger dragon one. Artemis draws her bow, Stephanie readies some large crystals and Katie holds her trident close.

"Maybe if things get too dire, you three could do that co-ordinated attack." Stephanie suggests.

"That takes a lot of magic and 'restricts' us to one form. I think it would be easier if we fought singularly." Artemis replies.

 

"Other forms. Ragnyon, how many stories are true?"
"More than I wish there were."
"Katie, can you stay with her underground in a maze of flooded tunnels? I think I know how she can fight."
"So you know I'm a hybrid."
"Yyyyep."
Ragnyon sighs.
"Another reason I'm an outcast."
"Well, it's about to be really helpful."

 

Katie focuses, and after a moment, a small pool appears in front of her.

I stop empowering Ragnyon, cutting the energy I was giving her, and appearing next to her.

"The false tunnels are getting created by the second, let's go." Katie says, jumping into the pool.

"Good luck." I say.

 

As Ragnyon stumbles into the pool, a transparent, ethereal form of her remains.
"It was written in those tomes, wasn't it?"
"Yes, the blue one."
"What's it like being your own soulcore?"
"Odd. Odd but convenient. Well..."
"Beacons set up, and the trace leads into a little diversion I already made. Their front lines are walking into a them-sensitive Radiant. It'll cause a little panic." Ihra smirks.

 

Katie grabs Ragnyon's claw and swims into the depths; her fish tail replacing her legs. Katie swims through multiple tunnels, coming to numerous intersections with large numbers of entrances at each. Katie swims through the tunnels without second thought; despite their perplexing nature and maze-like appearance.

I draw Shadow Katana, "Lets hope we don't have a hive mind coming after us." I say.

Stephanie hands a few green crystals to Artemis, and red ones to Abigail, before a ring of her own, multiple coloured ones, begins to levitate around her.

 

"Ragnyon, staff?"
"I... I can do it normally like this. Aj, I'm sorry... The feeble act was a bit of a ruse. I really am that weak in my physical body, but like this? Let's just say that I can stay underground and create an aura around the battlefield that'll turn any casualties on their side to our allies."

 

"Well, if we're talking about ruses and power..." I trail off.

A rather thick aura of darkness surrounds me, making the entire area dark. The aura expands before dissipating; leaving me at about five times the size I was before. Shadow Katana seems to have grown to fit my size.

"Here's a slice of my own." I echo.

 

She cringes.
"I just meant I'm not entirely unable to fight... I just... I'm just a beacon. I'm like a reverse Ihra. If that makes sense."
"Her magic works on our enemies, where mine works on us."

 

My red eyes glow menacingly, "Very well. Though I shall keep this form for the upcoming battle."

 

"Not... not a bad idea..."
Ragnyon slides underground, obviously put off by you in that form.
"Well, good to have you on our side, prophet."
"Glad not to be against that... I mean, him..."

 

"Uhm ahhh what are you doing here?" I then realize you were a gauntlet. "They did a mass teleport. I suggest you try and go after them. They left a trail. Some Draconians are off to hunt down Ragnyon, and when they arrive I'll try to throw them off. I'll meet you guys there."

"This can complicate things. A Light Wizard just appeared. He is with Ihra and the others, and he is where my current body is. You'll have to take him down. I'm currently growing some flowers to spy on Ihra and her group. It's a bit tough since they are pretty far away from my body. I think that you might need to hold off the attack first so I can scout out the group. Of course, you ARE the army, so its your call."

 

"Hmm... A light wizard? I can see through his illusions. Let him have his fun."

 

"Hmm... let's see... this looks interesting...."
OOC: Would Arnold be able to hear @Rawb and the draconians?

 

"That is not the main concern. I sense that once you trace the teleport spell, you'll be in for one hell of a fight. I recommend striking now, before the trace wears off. I'll be providing scouting information soon."

 

OOC: No, you can hear the shouting but nothing else.

"Then we'll give them one hell of a fight, courtesy of Ihra's ancestor."
The two orbs seem to be gaining power. They look like they might collapse onto themselves.
"We can strike when we wish. I think it may be best to wait and let them lower their guard."

 

"Urgh, I can't read with this shouting... might as well go and find out what's going on."
Arnold puts down the encyclopaedia and starts walking towards the shouting.

 

Finding the source of the shouting, you see two Rineth-sized dragons with legions of heavily armed draconians on their wings.
"Ah, so you did decide to come. Was the library of interest for you?"
