This is my character Tenshi. Someone just commented and told me to post it here so here it is! :D

Bold anime-atyled eyes with realistic shading will always creep me out...

I think it'd be better with a bit more.... realistic styled eye.

Nonetheless, beautiful blending.

Edit: unless you want that anime style- I suggest being a bit rougher on the shading. That amount of shading and detail gives a realistic effect.

 

well, the hair and Skin isnt too realistic, so i think it'stotally fine even if i hate anime

 

The thing with manga characters is I find huge eyes way too unrealistic. I'd go with an eye that's a bit smaller.

Everything else has very nice shading, though, which is very nice.

 

Is that not manga in a nutshell?

 

There are different styles of manga. I prefer the styles that lean toward more realistic body structures.

That is amazing shading! I like how the effort is put in on the arms so you can kind of see the muscle.

Haha yes, The ears kinda look like Pikachu. And this took me around 2 hours. Around 30 minutes for base outlining, an hour for shading, and 30 minutes of touch ups

There are not Pikachu ears. Tenshi is a Keaton. For those of you who have not played The Legend Of Zelda Majoras Mask, Here's a picture.

 

Can you try just shading a teacup?
I know that sounds like a weird request, but I've never known how to shade liquids and curved surfaces all that well.

 

I can try haha. I currently dont have my phone but Ill be able to draw it and do it tommorow :D
