"And what's stopping me from doing this?"
I sweep the projection of Hydrolance in a circle around the arena, holding the real one defensively.

 

I re-absorb my daggers, and, after testing the balance of the rapier, sheath it as well. "Well," I say, half to myself, " it seems I have a mysterious ally..."

 

"Ugh."
I say, loud enough so he can hear me, aiming another arrow.
"This is going to be incredibly boring if I'm to stand here just shooting arrows."
I taunt more.
"The least you can do is pound the ground triumphantly."
I shoot an arrow at his right gauntlet.

 

All of the monsters are swept away by the projection. Within a matter of seconds, the pigman shouts "THAT'S ENOUGH!"

You are able to handle it quite well.

He blocks the arrow with his left gauntlet. He smiles. It seems he is unfazed by the taunting.

 

I dispel it, turning guiltily to the pigman.
"Sorry..."

 

I shoot five arrows as quick as I can. One towards his mouth, two towards where his arms will be if he blocks his mouth, and two at his legs.
OOC: I might know what he's supposed to be planning here. Do you think I have a quiver full of real, there-in-the-quiver arrows? Because I don't. Sorry if I didn't explain that.

 

I decide to explore the forest.

 

I start to close my foot in to his back

 

He shouts out in pain, still holding against the claws, and his back holding against your foot. He jumps out of the way, causing you to somehow slash your foot. He quickly gets up and runs off somewhere. Something tells you that he isnt down for the count yet.

You explore the forest. It is decidedly tranquil. After a while, you come upon a cave.

I was sort of guessing you had infinate arrows. Besides, that's not what he's trying to do.

He jumps out of the way of all the arrows. He is still playing defensively.

"We need to have a talk." He says, motioning for you to come up to him on the spectator's area. Several hidden monsters come from hiding to heal the either unconscious or wounded monsters.

 

I swallow hard, walking up to him with my head held low. My tail drags along the ground.

 

When you get up the spectator area, he has an indescribable emotion on his face. "What is your name, recruit?" He asks in the common tongue. It seems he's aware that you are the monster who cannot speak the native language.

 

(I do.)

Instead of shooting, I just ready my bow and wait, shocking him every few seconds.

 

"Azure, sir..."
I sound like I'm answering the last few questions before my execution.

 

I ran pass the house

 

He takes several steps backwards from the shock. He is still playing defensively.

"What? Riko?" He asks. Then, he corrects his mistake. "Ah, Azure. Anyways, Azure. You are banned from participating in the basic training..." He pauses, His voice filled with excitement.

You continue running. After a while, you trip on a rock and fall into a hole. Congratulations. You weren't looking where you were going.

 

"SHHHHHHHHIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII-" I slammed on the ground, making me pass out

 

"Sorry for causing so much trouble, sir... I thought you said there were no rules, so I... I..."
I trail off, realizing that I don't have an argument to defend myself with.

You awaken. You are still in the hole. There seems to be no viable way out except for going deeper into what looks like a cave system.

"Let me finish." He says, still filled with excitement. "As I was saying; however, you will be strictly training with me and the other trainers. I see great potential in you Riko." He pats your shoulder. "You are dismissed to your room." He says, turning back to the crowd of monsters, who are now conscious. He begins to speak some things in the native language.

 

I mouth the word 'shit' before trying to find my map.
Once/if I succeed, I go to head back.

(OOC: I'm assuming I still have the robe on?)

 

Yes. Also, if you haven't realized, the Pigman isnt one for remembering names. He just calls people whatever he first calls them as.
