Void Rift (rp) - Intermission

"Well fine, maybe I'll show you a little more mercy." I say.

"...maybe."

"You shouldn't block Shadow Katana like that. I could easily cleave your gauntlet in half." I warn, lowering Shadow Katana.

 

"The feeling is mutual." Echoes a flower.

 

I grin.

"There's enough energy stored up in this gauntlet that it would physically repel your katana if you swung at it. You might even break the metal, who knows, but at that point I'd end up inhabiting your sword. I'm not as unprepared for scenarios as you might think."

 

"Good. I'm glad." I say.

Abigail walks over, clearly annoyed, "Are you two done with your idiotic bickering?" She growls.

"Maybe." I say.

Abigail growls threateningly.

"I'm not actually sure if you could actually inhabit a paradox; it'd either tear you apart or you just wouldn't be able to inhabit it," I say, "Besides, I think something already is inhabiting it. Sometimes I think it talks to me."

 

"I would be interesting to attempt, I'm sure. You should also probably see a psychiatrist about your paradox problems, before things get any worse."

 

"I could tell Artemis about it. She knows stuff about the mind." I say glancing at Shadow Katana.

"No, I will NOT kill them all!" You can just about hear me whisper to Shadow Katana.

I smile at you innocently.

 

I roll my eyes.

"If you're quite done, I think I'll hibernate a bit longer then."

I disappear into my gauntlet, as if sucked in by a vacuum.

 

Abigail picks me up with her teeth and takes me back to Ihra and the others; lying next to Ihra again.

I return to what I was doing, darting around; keeping guard.

 

A voice echoes in your mind.

"Aj...." it whispers.

 

I draw Shadow Katana and quickly slice the air where I heard the voice; quite befuddled when I find nothing there.

 

"I am your conscience..."

It seems like someone is trying awful hard to sound like a ghost

 

"YoOoOu SuUuUcK aAaAaT iIiImMmItTtAaAtIiIiInGgG mEeEeEeE." My actual conscience replies.

"Not that I actually sound like a ghost." My conscience, which is to say my thoughts, adds.

 

"How do I know you're Aj's real conscience, though? You might be an imposter!" says the voice, with an air of melodrama.

 

"Because a conscience is merely a moral sense of right and wrong; and I personify that as my thoughts," I think, "I could quite easily trace you back to your source; but I can see you're certainly not my conscience."

 

She's fast asleep.
This is already longer than a nap.

 

"If you mean that I want her to help me from a price, no, I'm trying to help her. Anything I want will come in time anyway."

OOC: @Rawb is currently a small stone figure in a cage on Arnold's belt, he can't wear the bracelet. Though Arnold can make him a humanoid form, Helianthus didn't want it when he was offered. Lately he has, but that was when Arnold was fighting Tirai.

"They might have thought Kai was a monster because he destroyed the ships. Do you know if he was badly wounded? Some boats in Runetrel have deadly war machines attached to the boats as well as a few decks of cannons, ballistae and a few harpoons."

"It depends. They might have kept him alive. We'll take a look. Whatever they did to him, it will be hard to hide a Leviathan in Runetrel, even though Runetrel is large."
Eras starts flying into the air and east towards the coast (if they are where I think they are, going east should be the right direction to Runetrel."
