Serious Charater Selection

Disclaimer: I haven't slept for 39 hours and I'm extremely tired. Expect raw emotion and typos.

Recently I've been thinking about what I want to do with my life.
I've been a part of wynncraft's community for a very long time now, and I don't know what my life would be like without it. It IS just a gam, but for me it feels like so more. I have had DREAMS about wynncraft. A lot of them.
Anyways, what does the rest of my life have to do with a minecraft server. Well, when you're going through life, you can have a lot of memorable experiences. But sometimes, the most important choices you need to make can only be made once. Imagine you meet someone, and you absolutely fall in love with them. You want nothing more than to spend your life with them. But then you meet another person and have similar feelings towards them. There is NO GOOD WAY for you to live both those lives without breaking one of their hearts, or having some extremely complex love triangle thing that ruins the experience for everyone involved.
This is why I wish wynncraft was the world we lived in. It has character selection. You can live the life you want and have the experiences you want as MANY TIMES AS YOU WANT. Oh, you wanted to be an archer AND an assassin? Well, in real life, you would have to choose one. But in wynncraft, you can be BOTH. You can live the exact same life with one major decision difference without having to sacrifice other things you love or break peoples hearts.

Combine the scenario above with being 99.99999% sure you're bisexual and then boom. There's my life.
There is no way for me to live my life the way I want and love who I want to love without breaking someone's heart.

What would you do in a situation like this?

So, I disorder I was born with that makes it so I can barely sleep. Current Record: 63 hours.

Eh, I've gotten used to it.
It's an excuse to play video games longer c:
And being able to run on 2 hours of sleep for 20 hours is pretty nice when I have to time crunch.
And I can drink coffee whenever, it won't keep me up cause I can't sleep anyways.
Keep in mind insomnia has it's problems as well but these are the reasons I don't mind it.

Yeah. I'm kinda strange like that. I use too much energy thinking while I'm awake, and no energy thinking while I'm asleep. I mean, like once a year, maybe I'll have a dream, but other than that I don't get any.

 

I like how this thread went from extremely tired Xavier gushing about life to a sensible talk about sleeping disorders.

 

Hey Xavier, as a good dictator and corporate slave I have to look out for the people who help me start armed insurrections on my private island for fun.

All jokes aside, I completely understand how you feel. Society often can seem like it's trying to force you into a shell, and people will keep pressuring you no matter how well you comply to it. I however, firmly believe that it's always possible to succeed from saying "Fuck You!" to the societal conventions we uphold as modern citizens of an interconnected world.

Now I don't know where you are from, or even the color of your eyes (I'm guessing Hazel), but I know one thing to be true, across both Wynncraft and real life; The best time you have, are with someone else.

I understand that this isn't a thread about being depressed, however, it feels like you are trying to get an answer. My answer for you is this:

You're gonna have a lot of jobs, and a lot of help.

You had to ask that random archer for help because they where an archer.

Just remember, at the end of the day, you're a big sack of chemicals, and the chances of life happening because of daddy doing the five knuckle shuffle, are a beautiful combination that have got you this far.

 

OFF-TOPIC: My eyes are really pale blue, almost gray, and you can get a rough idea of my location on my information tab on my profile.
ON-TOPIC: That helped a lot. I really appreciate it! (Especially the wynncraft analogies.) Eventually, my life will fall into place. I'll probably spend time thinking about those other possibilities, but what I'll end up with is what I will make the best version of my life.

I'll make my life the Water/Air/Thunder mage, and leave those other possibilities as the Water/Thunder/Air archer and the Water/Fire/Air warrior. I love them all but one triumphs over the rest.
