Teamspeak Vs Discord Poll

I'm positive that 99% of the people who upvoted this thing are the people who are too shy to talk others and would rather want to type their hearts out on a separate program.

 

For those TL:DR people

Many people who are voting for discord are people who haven't used either.

It will be a hassle to give ranks and privileges to all the mods, GMs and Admins again.

Teamspeak is already good and reliable.

I am voiting for keeping Teamspeak and I think that people who hasen't or rarely used either shouldn't vote.

 

I use TeamSpeak and I feel like Discord can be better if used correctly

 

there are many reason why people don't want to use discord over skype. Many people have reasons for wanting to keep this things separate and not all together like discord

Well, if you're presented with only the advantages of switching to discord, that's what shy people would choose (like me lol)

@Jumla I set up an unofficial discord, quite a few members already, so there's already an established community on discord if you switch!

 

After conversing with many of the Team Speak users and exploring the different uses we decided that in its current form it doesn't quite meet the needs we have for the channels such as slotted rooms, voice and text chat in separate rooms, and we found the overall opinions to be quite low. We will be keeping the Team Speak until Discord adds these, or our developer Jumla gets around to coding a bot to combine the text, and voice channels along with slotted rooms. You can still use the unofficial community one if you feel the inkling, and you can interact with the voice community at voice.wynncraft.com on Team Speak.

I would say Discord. I've been recently using it with my friends and I really have to say the audio quality and features feel significantly better than Teamspeak or Skype.

 

I mean it's not like you can disable it or anything.

 

I mean as long as its coffee proof then count me in

 

I personally like Discord.
I found this amazing piece of software a year ago and I absolutely love it. The design and user interfaces had impressed me. The only problem for me with Discord is you are not required to register an account to use it(I'm not sure if this has changed or not), or else I'd have used Discord over Skype.

 

I tried Discord with some others, both desktop and browser versions, and it was all around terrible. It's super laggy, some of the settings don't do anything, moderating is complicated and you don't have the nice channel tree structure like teamspeak, but instead a mess of tiles that all look the same. Also it has a super annoying TTS that reads all the messages out loud and you can't turn it off. I uninstalled that buggy and ugly software right away. Needless to say, I'd like to stick with Teamspeak.

 

I would prefer discord but I wont vote because I havent been on the ts of wynn. But Overall i prefer discord for chatting and talking.


Also are There like Channels for Persons with other nationalitys? Its hard for me to speak english for a longer Period of time but I would join a german Channel to Chat with the few other Germans on the Server :)
