That's the thing.

What's the point of even attempting to fight if, with a snap of her fingers (claws, whatever), Xlentia can just remove you from existence. All you can really do is throw yourself at her in a vague attempt to be mildly annoying before you get removed.

"Oh this person is aggressively shanking me? *pop* Now they're gone."

 

Because focusing that power onto a smaller point is extremely taxing.
Her null field is the source of the scenario.

If you can't beat 'em, hold out and call for help.

 

That doesn't make sense, because technically a 'Large erase' would work as well as a 'Small erase', but I won't argue your logic.

"You know what? I'll go find a smoothie in this weird dimension place."

"How are you even still alive?"

"Because I said I was. I'm alive if I want to be. Now I'm going to get a smoothie and nobodies going to stop me from accomplishing that."

 

Technically he's still alive. Somewhere. Reunion is in the afterstory.

The reason a focused erase takes more power than an unfocused erase is that it takes significantly more energy to control. Think of it like a dozen nukes; is it easier to make them only take out a tree or is it easier to just let them level the area?

Also Crelucium is an extremely strong creature. It'd take loads of power to get rid of him conventionally.

 

Which is why he was going to be the offhandiest offhand character there ever was in the history of offhands; foretold by the great offhand monks whose hands were so off, they didn't even exist, under a ritual of- alright you get the point.

I mean, Shadow Stephanie's super powerful but you don't see her joining in the fights. Heck, she just talks and bails people out occasionally.

"*bird flip* I just wanted a smoothie. Is that so much to ask?"

Also you know the power to erase stuff in a moment is probably more OP than magic resistance and paradoxes and stuff.

 

The more powerful the spell, the more energy it takes.

Also remember Xlentia was implicitly reawoken with three fragments, not five. She's far from full strength.

 

Surely Xlentia has tons of energy since she's a god or something? Removing a chunk of land with a bunch of people in can't be that taxing if you're a god.

Also, if she gets to full strength, then I just give up.

She's a god. With about 3/5 of her power.
Most of which she just spent erasing Crelucium.

Who needs power when you can just stomp your foes into oblivion because you're a massive god?

Ihra can make you more than fast enough to dodge Xlentia's attacks.


Technically he can get a smoothie. He's in Oblivion, which is kind of like limbo. He'd be alone, but he could give himself a smoothie.

You can still be her servant.
There'd just be a bit of an awkward thing called scale considering her hallways are the width of a town.

Phazo
Twin daggers - high dodge and counter
Allows teleporting, must be used with low armor
Throw - Rend - Warprend - Back Crosscut is standard for assasination
Cannot penetrate heavy armor

Negasphere
Single orb - no dodge, apocalyptic counter
Can only be used offensively once an attack has been absorbed
Weak to terrain damage

Binau
Broadsword and three orbs - low dodge, low counter, high combo potential
Orbs can radiate auras to phase through at will
Can set up devastating attacks with proper placement
Counter with a spread-out formation

Dulrein
Autogenerating two orbs - instant kill potential
Orbs gain power over several turns (5 total)
Orbs can be destroyed with any damage to them until fully developed (1/2/4/8)
Premature detonations needed to destroy a barrier protecting wielder from all harm

 

Oh god I need to get back into this... Time just flies soooo fast.

A couple friends and I around the start of summer are looking into starting the roleplay that sparked my ideas for this whole madhouse of a story.
It fell off last time because three of us aren't enough people.

So, is anyone interested in doing a modded survival rp themed off this?
(It may be vanilla, but it was modded the last three times)

The more people we have, the higher the chance it'll happen. Again, no guarantees, but we're trying.

I'm unsure about it being modded, as my OS tends to dislike mods and smash them to pieces when it sees them; but the concept sounds fun.

Not like I based my Minecraft character around Aj or anything...

 

It started when I threw together "Sivius" at 4 in the morning.

That spawned the ideas of Virei'tus and Xlentia.
And the fragments.
Then it went out of control.
Year later, I'm here.
