Void Rift (rp) - Intermission

A crossbow bolt out of nowhere knocks the blade, sharp or not, hard towards Katie's neck.

 

Violet waits, much to her own impatience.

It turns out the blade was real.

The blade cuts into Katie's neck, and she screams before it cuts into a choke.

"KATIE!" Stephanie says in shock, cutting her character. Stephanie removes the blade from Katie's neck, and Katie puts her hands on her wound. Surprisingly, her blood doesn't spill out.

Abigail and I get up immediately, looking around for the source of the crossbow bolt.

"H-eck-lp..." Katie manages to say, hands on her neck.

 

I toss Stephanie the rag.
I blast off in the direction of behind me, searching for anyone, or anything.

 

You get a feeling that it was anyone BUT me.

"Must be quite a show then."

 

Two more bolts, with strong tranquilizers, stick straight in your spines, one for each of you. Rineth catches you.
"Shit. Emergency landing. Artemis, wake up Ihra!"

Nyre lands between Ihra and Stephanie.
"Thanks for making my job easy. Figured I'd let you fools know I'm still alive and well."
He chuckles.
"Let your guard down, eh? Too easy, witch!"

 

OOC: For me, or Katie and Steph?

 

Aj and Abigail

 

Stephanie ties the rag around Katie's hands, which are glowing an intense blue.

"It's alright, you're safe, it's only a little cut." Stephanie says, trying to soothe Katie.

Artemis shakes Ihra rapidly, "Ihra! Ihra! It's Nyre! Wake up!" She says, panicked.

Abigail is knocked out, while I simply take the bolt and lick it; fairly unaffected, though slightly drowsy.

"Get me a bucket of KFC because this will be too easy." Stephanie says, pronouncing "Too Easy" with a strong Australian accent.

A ring of tortured looking idols surround Nyre, each doing their individual action. Some scream tortured cries, others give horrific visions, some even cause hallucinations.

 

With a raised then clenched fist, they all melt into magma, causing Rineth to scream in pain and start falling.
Ihra's suddenly awake.
"Rineth or the others, I only have time for one!" She stammers, clearly not fully awake yet.

Nyre unsheathes his knife, grinning.
"You have armor, or are you making this easier than putting Ihra to sleep?"
Turns out there was a bolt in her tail.

 

"I can help Rineth. Probably."
I say to Ihra.

I fly down to Rineth, below his neck.
"Hey, Rineth! Lift up, speed up, or cleansing?"
I ask.

 

Stephanie shakes her head, smiling.

"You IDIOT!" She says, grinning. Crystals begin to form around her, growing and adding to her. After a short moment, Stephanie resides in a dauntingly large crystal golem.

Stephanie brings her hands down, and so does the golem. It's massive fists causing large craters as it his Nyre.

"Mr. Cereal Bowl, I have an important notice," I say, half awake, pointing off in the distance, "We have a meeting with the chocolate milk dynasty."

Oddly, there's a lone figure off in the distance where I point. He seems to be running rather fast, and gaining size.

"It's Sir Creamcookieum!" I say with joy.

 

"There's holes in me, damnit... healing!"

Ihra faints, and Stephanie's golem causes Rineth to stop gliding entirely.
Bones breaking can be heard as you enter a freefall.

Nyre phases through the fist, flying above you and grinning as you fall.

 

Stephanie manages to right herself in the air, preparing for a heavy landing.

"Mrs. Bacon and Eggs, what would you say about the approaching cookie?" I ask the unconscious Abigail, pointing toward the, now much larger, grey figure charging toward us.

"How about you Ms. Orange Juice?" I say to Katie.

"Snap...out of it, A-eck-j!" Katie manages to say, covering her neck.

"IT TAKES A WHOLE LOT MORE TO KILL ME B*TCH!" The figure shouts, though from the distance it's hardly audible.

"I must disagree Mr. Pancake, for the fork said you were joining our side." I say.

 

"Well, SHIT."
I comment.
"I can't do that! But I know what I can do!"

I fly up and catch Ihra.
I put my exposed finger against her neck.
I shock myself, which shocks my finger, which, as it goes, shocks Ihra.

 

"Ah, but there's something beautiful about this scene." Nyre shouts back.

"Besties, huh? You sure don't know when to stop. Need a reminder?"
Aj is barraged with bolts.

A pool of plasma waits for Stephanie to land.
"Ah, just look at the beautiful discord!" He cackles.

She wakes up, entering a glide.
"PROPHET'S GAMBIT!"
She shouts, spinning her staff.
Rineth's fall slows, Abigail regains consciousness. Katie's neck cut heals. Stephanie's golem falls significantly slower.

"Damnit, Ihra!" Nyre growls, diving her with dagger in hand.

 

I start flying over to Stephanie.
On my way, I punch Nyre in the arm wielding the knife.

I fly over to below Stephanie.
I catch Stephanie by the feet.
I lower her to the ground, away from the plasma.

 

A twilight aura surrounds me, and the bolts phase right through.

"NOBODY GETS TO HURT AJ OR HIS FRIENDS BUT ME!" Crelucium says, towering over everyone (including Rineth). His right, red eye glows furiously.

Crelucium delicately picks Stephanie from the air and places her in a safe area, like moving a small figurine.


"You bloody worm, you've made me really mad now!" Abigail says. By her own magic, she manages to transform into her dragon form.

Katie looks up at Crelucium in shock, shaking.

"I knew he wasn't dead." She says, mainly to herself.

 

OOC: Are you guys on the ground or nah?

 

OOC: Fine. I guess I don't save you.

 

OOC: (I believe) Stephanie was still in her golem, the weight of which would crush you.
