'I have to use it...' I thought, both of my blades glow and I screamed, slashing everywhere

 

'Nothing,but still....'I think while looking around for a little longer,then stopped.I hold the wand tightly and closed my eyes,trying to sense if there is anything nearby.

 

I cautiously make my way towards the light at the edge of the wilderness.

 

"Clear." I nod.

 

I look around the desert, trying to see something other than sand.

 

I know. He won't be able to speak it well enough to communicate here.

My eyes open wide. I stick Hydrolance in the ground and throw my hands into the air.

You awaken near some ruins. You vaguely remember getting knocked out by a flying rock from a sandstorm. It's just desert as far as the eye can see.

"The Most Powerful Just and Lord Emperor King Dominus Terrae is glad to that you appreciate our home." It seems he is adding more and more adjectives to 'King Dominus Terrae'. As you both walk along, a painting catches your eye. It appears to be a skeleton with burning fire in its eyes standing over a rock with its golden sword struck in the ground. A small golden inscription reads King Dominus Monstrum The Great founds the Monster Empire

Your troops nod, and then go back to their positions. One of your Aide de camps approaches you. He looks worried.

One of the monsters, who you assume to be the leader, nods. He then starts speaking something. You can't quite understand. Something like "Quis es?" comes out of his mouth. You have utterly no idea what he's trying to say.

You cannot see anything for miles. Just sand, sand, and...whoah! What's that! It's-it's...More Sand!

"Good. Move out" He says, making a hand signal. The four bandits each get to their entrenched positions along the side of the path. You can see an empty trench. That is probably where you will be.

You walk towards the light. There, you can see a large battle raging on between Monsters and Humans. Large explosions go off simultainously, and a cacaphony of shouts and sounds of war echo throughout the battlefield. The air is covered with dust, and the consistent explosions create small dust storms and suspended earth.

You immediately sense someone charging towards you from behind. And yet this person is completely silent as they charge towards you.

You kill the lava elemental and destroy several rocks and fireballs being thrown towards you. Two Fire Elementals charge towards you, only to be cut down by your blades. +3 Kills

"What? Foolish dragon! You are in our territory! I refuse to believe you dragons have forgotten who is in charge here! I am the great Lip'x! Leave or die!" He shouts. All of the soldiers in the columns pull out crossbows and load them, pointing them towards you. Their crossbows seem to be glowing. Lip'x grabs his sword. It is also glowing.

 

I stopped and collapsed, extremely tired. "Gah... Hah..."

 

'!?'Sensing someone approaching at great speed,I turn around and cast a magic shield,attempting to guard if they are about to attack.

 

I look at him with something between confusion and terror.

At least it's better than a desert... I think?

 

Two Ice elementals start circling you, and then they both fire ice beams on the ground, causing the ground to freeze, and build up ice. They continue circling, creating a border of ice around you.

You cast your shield in the nick of time. The person's sword bounces off it.

He looks at you for a moment. "Quis es? Exaudi me!" He shouts out. He looks angry. He repeats it again. "Quis es? Exaudi me!"

 

I start to walk northeast, looking for a city.

 

"Azure?"
I take a nervous step backward.

 

'Is this... Where I end...?' I'd thought before passing out completely...

 

You trudge in the sand. It is a gureling march. After about twenty minutes of just walking northeast, you find...more sand. Something catches your eye though. There seems to be something in the distance. You can't quite make it out though. You look closer, and can see another thing in the distance. Both of the things you see are quite far away from each other. Looks like you might have to choose. (Left or Right? Left was first one you saw)

By the way he's asking if Azure can speak Nital, the native language of the monsters in Dreadia.

You pass out as the two ice elementals form a complete ice sphere around you.

You awaken. It feels really cold. You can't put your finger on it why. You can't see much, only blue. It's a bit translucent. A shiver goes down your spine. It is REALLY cold.
