"Well... I have no idea how I am called a legend... So how about you ask them...?" My face remained blank and dull

 

"Sure. Better than becoming a sand sculpture. I've got nowhere else to be, anyways. Thanks."

 

"If that isn't what happened then what did...?" I ask Lupert

 

He seems as though he's not buying it. "Soldiers, do you not realize that that legend is false?! It's just a propaganda trick by the government to get young men like you to join the army! Thinking you'll meet Reno Arashi in battle, how petty." He looks disgusted. The soldiers remain silent, obviously feeling slightly afraid of their commander who is scolding them.

He nods, and for a second your vision blacks out. You reappear in a house. The house appears to be quite modest. You realize that the guardian isn't a silhouette anymore. He looks pretty human, as a matter of the fact. "Take a seat. This won't take long" He points towards a sofa. He then walks into a modest looking kitchen, and plucks a yellow flower from a miniature garden.

"We were going to blow up the road just as a caravan of merchants were passing through. When we thought we saw them, you set the explosive off. The bomb exploded right in front of your face, knocking you back. Apparently though, what we thought was the caravan was actually just a group of cows grazing." explains Lupert. "No, no, no, no!" shouts the fourth bandit, who you recognize as Lyn. "That's not what happened either!" he shouts.

 

"Oi..." The air starts to look smoky- "I don't think you should insult me like that... or treat your soldiers like they are scum... Anyone can believe what they want..." I said, sounding a bit aggressive

 

"Thanks. Um... May I ask where I am? This certainly isn't any place familiar."

 

He ignores you. "Now get back to your posts soldiers! We have to make sure that we won't be ambushed by the monsters!" He turns towards you as soldiers start walking back to their posts. "Now then, I think you should go now before anything bad happens."

"We're in Dreadia," he says as he pours water into a teapot, "Well to be exact, we're in my pocket dimension."

 

"Ugh then..." I turn to Lyn. "Alright then. Your account of what happened?"

 

"Mmm... I guess..." I walked back into the woods, feeling dulled and such

 

"Dreadia? Crap. Is it all desert? If it is, just kill me now. Ractyn isn't like this at all..."

Short backstory: A powerful ice dragon hatched thousands of years ago, having become more treacherous each passing year many dragons feared him and some fled when having a den near his territory he was visited by "Hero" and he proclaimed that he would slay Terra Suul and give all of his treasures to poor villages and.... he was frozen solid before he could finish.... After a good millennium he wakes up and decides to finally get involved in some world problems and get some jewels from it.

Weapon/Ability 1: Frost breath, simple attack, Terra Suul breathes out a freezing breath attack.

Weapon/Ability 2: Sharp claws, just dragon claws.

Weapon/Ability 3: Freezing presence, a cold aura surrounds Terra Suul and has a devastating effect on weak civilians with a slowing affect on anyone that can survive it (pretty much trained soldiers and more)

Preferred Starting Area: On the fortress peaks

Other: He doesn't think that humans are anything special but food.

You awaken in a cold sweat. Something doesn't feel right. You can hear some shouting from outside your tent. Maybe your soldiers are drunk again?

"Hahah, of course not!" He says, sounding pretty amused. "Only a part of it is. Unfortunately for you it seems you are in that desert. Most of Dreadia is forests anyways, so you'll be fine." He lights the underneath of his teapot on fire. "I take it you have some kind of elemental weakness to deserts?"

As you walk back into the woods, you hear the sound of something, or someone running towards you.

"We were in a fight with some Hellwood soldiers, and then we beat them back. And as they were running away, there was a caravan of supplies to the front on the road, and as it approached, you lit the fuse, but the fuse was too slow, and the caravan escaped the explosion that knocked you out." Lyn explains. "For goodness sake! That's not what happened you cretins!" Shouts Lumi.

You awaken in your den at the edge of the Fortress peaks. It's been a while since you last stretched. Something tells you that you should probably stretch and then look outside.

 

I quickly draw out my two blades and get into a stance

 

You turn around with your swords drawn and see...a soldier? He appears to be pretty young, probably the minimum age to be conscripted. "Please! Wait! Don't kill me!" He looks really tired. After catching his breath for a few seconds he continues. "Are you really Reno Arashi?"

 

"Yeah..." I felt nervous, but I slid my swords back in the sheathes

 

I start stretching for a while and then look outside my den

 

"Really? Reno Arashi is really real?!" He seems extremely jumpy now, with a large grin across his face.

"Heh... I am THE Reno Arashi from what those other guys said back in the camp..." I gave a small grin
