I surface to glance behind me, and if I can't see anyone, then I'll jump in.

"This was lucky..." I think.

 

There is no one behind you. Just the desert for miles. As you jump into the oasis, you realize that there is a figure staring at you from atop the cliff. The water is nice and cold, and is extremely refreshing. You feel it heal your wounds. You feel...better. After about a minute, you feel obliged to surface.

 

I do so, looking for Hydrolance and the thing watching me.

 

I wall-jumped off a tree and grabbed one branch, high enough to see what was that glow
(Can I edit my first ability? I think it sucks :/)

 

You surface from the water feeling refreshed. You find your lance on the ground where you left it. You look to the top of the cliff. The figure is gone, but you sense that it is still near you.

You can see it clearly now. It is a very large camp of soldiers. Unfortunately, they aren't Deserted Sands soldiers. The banners you saw earlier were probably just capture banners. You can clearly see the banners and flags of Hellwood.

 

I look around, going back partway in the water.

If I don't see the figure;
"Hello? Anyone?" I shout.

If I see the figure;
"Hello?"

 

I sigh in relief and jumped down; walking towards the camp

 

You see nothing. As you put one foot in the water, a threatening voice echoes, "You have done what you must do. Do not enter the oasis again."

As you walk towards the camp, a soldier approaches you. Recognizing your face, he shouts "Hey! It's Reno Arashi! THE Reno Arashi!" Several soldiers walk towards you. A mixture of shock, disbelief, and confusion are in their faces.

 

"What explosion?" I ask.

 

I put the tip of Hydrolance in the water.
"So... Where do you want me to go?" I call out.

 

"Huh, it must've knocked some memory out of you." Lumi says, "Leon, explain to Ra'al what happened." A bandit walks towards you, who you recognize is Leon. "We were going to blow up the road as a group Hellwood supplies for the front passed through. Unfortunately, the fuse didn't go off. You went down to investigate, but then it blew up, knocking you here." he explains. "Leon, that's not what happened." Lupert says.

"Anywhere you wish. This oasis is sacred. It has immense healing capabilities. However I, the guardian of this oasis, permit visitors to enter the oasis only once per visit to maintain its magic." A figure steps forwards from behind a tree.

 

'Huh... I must be popular...?' I'd thought, curious, I still walked around

 

"Oh... I'm sorry. I... uh... Have no idea where I am."
I pull Hydrolance out of the water, nervous.

 

The soldiers look at you, and then start cheering. You hear cheers like "The legend is real!" and "He's alive!" +100 Hellwood RP

The figure walks towards you. For some reason, you still can't see him properly. It's probably because it's night, but from any angle you try, he's still a silhouette. "No need to feel nervous. I only use to big voice on newcomers. Welcome to the oasis!" He says. He appears to be friendly.

 

"I... uh... thanks. My name is Azure. I... I have no idea how I got here. Something tells me my kind isn't a common sight here."

 

(OOC: When I think of the soldiers )

I secretly smiled to their cheers and I walked towards town, deciding to explore it

 

"Pleasure to meet you. You are right though, this is the first time I've met one of your kind. You're very lucky to have found this oasis. Few travellers ever make it hear, and most people call them insane afterwards." He extends his hand, which is still a silhouette, for a handshake.

This a camp, not a town :P

As you walk along the camp, with soldiers cheering and following you, a man walks out of what you recognize as the commander's tent. He looks extremely cross. "What is going on with this racket?!" He shouts. The soldiers remain oblivious to him.

 

(Whoops xD)

"... I think your soldiers recognize me as a legend" I said to their commander

 

I accept.
"No kidding, that storm is hell. I come to laying in the sand thinking I was going to die. This was the most luck I've ever had."

 

"What kind of nonsense is this?!" he says, looking at you. "SOLDIERS! SHUT IT!" He shouts. Al of a sudden, the camp falls silent. "Who is this and why are you all cheering him?!" he asks furiously at a guard near him. "That's Reno Arashi, sir!" He says, looking very giddy. "Is this true, young man?" He asks. He doesn't seem to be buying it.

You shake his hand. He's still a silhouette. You can't even feel anything as you shake his hand. You just...know you are shaking his hand. "Well, would you want to stay at my place for a while? I've got some tea." As he says the word "tea", you vaguely remember something about flowers and tea.
