Dark Theme And Normal Theme

How do you make something compatible for both, for example, on dark theme it'll look white, and on normal it'll be black? And let's say you're changing it, for example, it was originally blue, and you want it to be black on normal theme, vice versa.

 

In the color menu it clearly has a "None" option.

 

In what context?

 

I've done that, but it doesn't work. I've tried converting it into (none), but it didn't change anything. Turned it into white and then (none), and also black and then (none), but well.

Make a spoiler and in the text for the Title put "For Dark Theme Users" then copy paste the entire post and put it inside the spoiler and highlight all of it again, then select white text.

Are you 100% sure it's not working? Since it's basically the default color, it's barely distinguishable between the white and black texts, depending on theme.

(If you've already tried this, then it'll probably sound stupid.) Have you made sure the text is highlighted before selecting the "None" color?
