Toa Complete Level?

    I've heard of people not getting even a level from ToA at level 40, so what level should it be completed? I'm level 73 mage right now.

    It's because toa wasn't meant to be completed at lvl 40

    ToA shouldn't be thought of as a way to level, more as a challenge to beat a lot of difficult mobs and bosses.

    Idk. It depends on having good gear (you need some completely different weapons to fight them. I'm stuck on Guardian because he's a water elemental and I can't find any good weapons to fight him with which aren't water or air). You also need to have a level which can defeat each boss (each floor is easy as long as you are careful). The bear boss on the first is a slightly stronger than usual mob and isn't really that hard. However, Argaddon is a challenge for people near to its level. Being slow isn't good when fighting him because of high damage (he isn't even fast but you need to be able to avoid him because he always moves towards you). The witch doctor... he had ranged if I remember correctly? The witch doctor is a boss you need to be able to dodge. As long as you can dodge it, you are fine because it is fairly easy. Then Guardian is as far as I've been. Guardian is like a water version of Argaddon. You might want to have a weapon with elemental and neutral damage (an element which can hurt it to!). I've heard that Chained Beast was one of the hardest pre-Gavel bosses, possibly harder than old Amadel, so you might actually need to be higher than its level (if you can, not sure what its level is) just in case. The other one which isn't death killed itself after about 2 minutes, so you need to prepare for your hand hurting a lot. Unless you are really good at fighting bosses (like, Selvut good), then you need to bring a few people with you to help kill death or to protect you from the other bosses.

    Maybe wait until you're level 60 or around that, you'll receive more xp then, rather than when you're at level 40 (people with double xp bombs have leveled from 40 to 48, but at level 65 you can get to level 76, which is still ~10 levels, but it's a lot more xp (since at higher levels it takes a lot more experience and grinding necessary in order to level up).

    No? I know someone who was level 65 and got to level 77, so it's fine I would say, it's at level 40 or low levels like 40 that you should worry about finishing it, since the quest will reward you less, rather then doing it at level 60 or 65 or 70 :)

    does the same apply to the Qira hive? If I completed it at level 80, would i get less xp?

    Hum no? The Qira hive is different from ToA, since in ToA the armor reward you get is level 75 (which clearly indicates that the quest is not meant to be finished at level 40), while the qira hive has rewards for level 80 and up, so I would say level 80 or further is perfectly fine.

    Also it's very impossible to finish ToA at level 40 without someone else's help, since on the last floors of ToA the mobs are level 100 and above that.

    If you're interested in getting more xp (specially from the qira hive, which is the quest that gives the most xp out of all of them) I would suggest delivering the quest on a dxp server, or even wait for double xp weekend to appear and deliver in txp (double xp weekend + double xp bomb = triple xp) and also use a potion of wisdom (they give 15%xp for 90 seconds, so take one right before delivering the quest). It hasn't been proven if armor with xp bonus influences or not the quest xp rewards, but wearing the best xp armor also can't hurt, better to be safe then sorry ;)
