So I quit Wynncraft for a while and after I come back I see there is a new update. All my items were "Unidentified" so I identified them and couldn't put it on? I see now that identified items have a requirement in stats before you can put them on.

So my question is: Is it still possible to build a character? (i.e. Glass Cannon Archer 120 strength 60 dex 60 agi) or do I have to tailor my stats to the items I get?

Also is there a way to change the requirements of my items?

Does this mean that if I got a rare drop, I would have to potentially sell it/buy another to get an item tailored for me?

Welcome back! Yes, it is still possible to build characters, and usually the weapons will fit for your build of skill points, but building characters will be slightly altered(Not an expert on builds do not trust me)
And no, it is not possible to change your requirements.
And for your final question, there is a possibility that the item will not fit your build/ requirements and you must find specific weapons on the market. (Don't trust me here as well)
Again, I am no pro wynncrafter, so don't trust me at all :)

Thanks for that but I have more questions :D

So right now I can't put on 3 of my four armors because of this, I don't want to do something dumb and allocate it and then regret it. So after I get an item, is it unidentified or just a normal item with no restrictions?

Yes, builds are possible to make even with the struggle of finding the correct item(s) to do so. Item requirements cannot be changed, and can be left as is. This creates a large "valuability" for skill points, because if you misplace it, they are hard to get back (At least, in my perspective. I'm poor can't buy many reset scrolls too often.) Things like the Sanik Archer build, which consists of mostly agility, and some intelligence to top it of, creates a well end game build. There are many of these builds that people have created. @MajesticNarwhal created a post, consisting of some end game builds that work quite well. (CLICK HERE TO GO TO HIS POST.)

After you get an item, it needs to be identified to be able to be used. Some may not have any Skill point restrictions, some do. There isn't a "+Defense" armor system any more, as it was moved over to health and many new added stats.

By the way, you cannot put more than 100 skill points into a skill. You can get over 100 through identifications, tho.

So just a final question, do rares and legendary and unique all come in "unidentified" or are they usuable immediately?

Yes, they all start off as Unidentified. The ones that don't are store-bought or quest rewards.

After playing a bit more it seems that Wynncraft is no longer for me. Anyhow, thanks a lot for the detailed answers. :D
