Cactus Builds Are In Need Of Some Nerf

    from what i've seen in the last few days , trying to have fun while dueling people 70% of the wynn players use cactus builds as end game and for a reason they are op af and i will explain why
    there is no way of taking them down with a damaging build , and why is that? now you might say "but wait you can kill them so fast " well the problem is that damage builds dont have much health and will get one shot after using their attack
    tanks might not take a lot of damage reflected but you need to remember cactuses still got their own basic attack and can easily out damage the tank
    and lets not forget , not agility nor defense work against thrones/reflection making your agility/defense points render useless
    i can suggest a few things i will give 3 as an example -
    1) nerf thrones/reflection overall to only reflect 30% of the damage not all of it..
    2) make it so the more thrones/reflection you have the more damage you reflect and keep it at a basic chance of 10% to reflect damage back
    with 200% reflection you could still reflect double the damage the enemy did to you once in 10 hits
    3) make agility/defense actually help you with thrones/reflection


    just to add to my arguement , cactuses usually have life steal which makes them op against everything , including bosses since basically they take damage , deal it to the enemy , and then heal themselves for the damage they took
    making them pretty much unkillable
    if the spell builds were op , how do you call this
    ok so those are some of my arguements why cactus builds should be nerfed a lot

    Cactus does need a nerf however I would like to point out agility is just as broken.
    I'm pretty sure poison can't get reflected so maybe take a different approach to killing cactus players.

    I think defense builds in general are op, i mean lets say you max out agility, thats 80% less damage or you could say you can take 5x more damage. With Dex thats like 80% chance of 2x damage so its like 1.8x damage. Same with Strength/Defense, now apparently strength and dex don't stack so you're just gonna be doing 3x damage at most with just 150 dex/str but with 150 def/agi you take 25x more damage as they stack, you literally take 4% damage wot. Now apply thorns n reflec + lifesteal and wot how do u even ded? U could AFK in qiras hive and be like wot

    Intel doesn't work in the nether the last time I checked. Also I don't see anything wrong with having some reflection, but having a build which relies on reflection for kills is broken especially when most people sit there with statues on.

    I know i am just talking about it overall , intl and agility seem to be better then any other skill
    and some reflection is fine , the problem is when people have over 60% reflection/thrones and just one shot you whenever you damage them , and that with poison most of the times which knocks you away and disturbs you to keep fighting

    So what your saying is that a guy going a cactus build can survive a 100k uppercut from the guy who soloed bob in 4 seconds?

    no , what i am saying is that he will one shot the guy who did the upper cut as well
    but he could survive builds that are not also broken af like alkatraz builds

    1. Agility is a chance to Dodge 100% of dmg taken. if you max out agility stat, you have an 80% chance to dodge dmg every time you're hit.

    2. Idk what you're talking about with 5x dmg, so im moving on.

    3. "With Dex thats like 80% chance of 2x damage" < This part is right, but then you say "so its like 1.8x damage" and it didn't make sense anymore.

    4. Can you pls explain this part "so you're just gonna be doing 3x damage at most with just 150 dex/str"

    5. "but with 150 def/agi you take 25x more damage as they stack, you literally take 4% damage wot" That last part must just be a misunderstanding about how Def and Agi stack. If you maxed out Defense and Agility, you have an 20% chance to take 20% dmg. because you have an 80% chance to dodge the attack, and the maxed Def blocks 80% of the dmg.

    Its easily possible. 150 defence = 80% less damage, or 5x less damage, so that's 20k. Now imagine that + 80% agility, 5 attacks of which only one will land on average, dealing 20k per 5 hits. Its not that hard to get 20k with statues. With 150 defense, challenging. 150 defense and agi w+ 20k hp will be admitingly hard, though, 100k UC is pure earth elemental damage thus is easily negated more so by elemental resistance.

    And how is a guy using a cactus build gonna get 150 defense points or 150 agility points? And unless you have more elemental defense than a touroto its still gonna hurt alot, bob has elemental defense but he got killed in 4 seconds and he had 160k health.

    wot how does it not make sense, if you got hit 100 times with a strike that did 100 damage, only 20 of those would hit, which would only deal 20 damage each, for a total of 400 damage out of the possible 10000 damage (4%). As i said, Agility on average is 5x less damage taken, so is defense, when stacked its 25x less damage which in percent is 4%.

    Nah Salted will just come in and nerf Cactus Builds so much their worse than a -mana regen build.

    And back to dex, if you didn't guess my averages system from defense last time, obviously its only 1.8x because only 80% of your attacks are crits, so 100 strikes of 100, 80 would double, so basically you would end up with 18000 which is 1.8x the original value.

    From my information i am told dex and str don't stack, being any crit does not include strengths bonuses. so basically that's actually under 2x, as you have 1.8x damage 20% of the time, 2x 80% of the time. so basically thats 1.96x damage from my guess work on that one.

    In short, damage increases have diminishing returns while damage reductions get exponentially more effective per point.

    They actually make that cactus gears usually have very little if not no health bonus to balance this out, like virgo or call of the void, moreover, life steal gears are also nerfed like executioner helmet in previous patches, i doubt a professional cactus if not played well can survive a few blows from Qira.
    Lets say a cactus with 8k health and Qira does 4k damage each time, he at most can take 3 hits but merely doing 4k damage to Qira. 4K is not a lot to a boss that heals 35k health every 10 seconds btw.
    Finally, pvp in end game wynncraft is just a game of "who lands the first successful hit" as people can well do over 20k damage per spell while most people have around 10k health only. So pvp shouldn't be a standard in measuring whether sth is op

    Edit: also if you're saying cactus + life steal is unkillable, actually this is just a kind of play style, tanks with insane hp regen is unkillable, speed builds with more than 120 Agi is also unkillable, actually every defence build can make someone unkillable to a certain extend.

    its really not a problem , since having more then 100% thrones/reflection is useless you just use virgo with some reflection/thorones accessroeis and then use leo and pants with high hp and helment with decent hp and here you go 14-15k health

    its not who lands the first hit in pvp , its clear you have not tried end game pvp , end game pvp is all about your build , you are against a defensive build , it depends who can out damage , you are against agility? who gets unlucky first and so on.....
    and having a build that you cant hit without taking all the damage you did back is simply broken

    also you are forgetting cactuses still have a weapon , and spell and melee damage , and they are all still pretty dang good


    no its not a play style , its not ,
    1) health regen doesnt work when being hit and a tank with that hp regen deals like no damage , it has FLAWS
    2) agility builds you get hit once , unlucky and you lose 8k or more hp which is usually all you got , FLAWS
    now lets look at life steal+ cactus
    decent health - yes
    high basic attack - yes they are usually earth builds that can use any good weapon they want
    decent walk speed - its not negative thats for sure
    AND on top of all of that , they cant be hit without dealing the same damage to their enemy AND gaining back all the health they lost


    also people dont wanna nerf everything , they only want to balance the game , because guess what , its hard to have a balanced game which is why suggestions and improvements are important
