Void Rift (rp) - Intermission

"Oh shet." Abigail says, releasing Katie and aiming the gun at Xlentia.

Katie faints at the sight of Xlentia, along with having a gun put to her head.

"She did it." I say, pointing at Abigail.

 

The gun disintegrates in Abigail's hand.
"And who might you be, mortal?"
She's so big, you can't see the tip of her tail when looking down the hallway.
Xlentia glares straight at Abigail, putting a single claw next to her.

Her claw alone os much bigger than either you or Abigail.

 

"My name is...uh...Rose! Rose Lalonde." Abigail lies, trying to hide her nerves.

"Nice reference." I whisper as quietly as possible to Abigail.

 

"Seems reading your mind is easier than talking to you. Abigail... Are you aware of what happened to the last person who made a mess of my palace? Aj sure knows."

 

A wild Peeb appears, shuffling out from behind a bush, leaving a trail of blood behind him.
He looks around at the surrounding destruction. "Impossible" he says, before clutching his chest and crumpling to the ground.
The blood seeps through between his fingers, and his eyes start to flutter. He takes his hand off of the wound and begins to crawl forward.
"I need..."
"What, what do you need?" a fish says in the distance.
"a tailor... BECAUSE I RIPPED MY PANTS!"
The fish stares blankly at the injured Peeb, and momentarily thinks about bashing his skull in.
"You're lucky I just injected memes into me, child, or I would have grinded your bones to a fine dust."
Peeb looks at him in delight, his eyes glowing a faint red, which appear very dark compared to his now pale skin, due to blood loss.
The fish realizes what's happening. He opens his mouth to scream, but not before the Peeb has sunk it's kanine teeth into his neck.
The fish's eyes roll back, and he falls to the ground, limp.
Peeb stands tall and puffs his chest, and screeches in victory.

 

"Oh, you mean Crelucium? Yeah he's dead now. I killed him." I say proudly.

"Well, uh...You don't need to talk to me if you can read my mind!" Abigail says.

Abigail focuses on thinking about a rather annoying, repetitive song.

 

Xlentia doesn't seem to notice.
"It's easier for both of us. I get to know what I want with less energy, and you get to keep more of your most personal secrets."

 

"NYANYANYANYANYANYANYANYANYANYANYAN!" Abigail starts shouting, covering her ears and closing her eyes.

I just stand there, dumbfounded. Katie remains unconscious.

 

"You're friends with her how?" Xlentia mutters, putting her claws around Abigail to muffle the sound.
"Girl, keep this up and I'll just step on you."

 

"Aj, hand me a frying pan!" Abigail says, her voice muffled.

"I don't think this is the time for bacon. Nor do I think Xlentia's hungry."

"Frying pan!" Abigail shouts.

I summon a frying pan in my hands and give it to Abigail.

 

"Aj, I'm sorry, but you realize I don't take kindly to vandals? I meant to keep my word."

 

Abigail whacks herself in the face as hard as she can with the frying pan, and with a comedic clang, knocks herself out.

"Well this just gets more awkward by the minute." I say, embarrassed.

"So uh...How was your day today? I mean, if you have such a thing as days here...how was the past 24 hours?" I ask Xlentia.

 

"Well, four mortals have come to me, two of which have damaged my residence. It's infuriating, but I found some decently sized jewels and a rather pretty scepter in the last world I ravaged."
She lifts her claw off of Abigail.
"The scepter is small, too small for me to handle without breaking, but it was worth calling in a few extra servants to bring back. I'm considering moving it to my hoard."

 

"Your...hoard? That sounds freaking amazing. You're 10 times more amazing since you're a dragon with a hoard." I say, amazed.

Abigail falls to the ground, unconscious.

 

"You've seen a bit of it when you first arrived. That insolent wretch confronted me right next to it; I don't take kindly to thieves... not that anything in there is particularly easy to carry out of here."

 

"I don't really need much. I already have a pocket dimension full of many thousands of years of stuff. Besides, taking stuff from your hoard would break this lovely friendship we've made!" I say, smiling.

"When is your birthday by the way? I'll get you a present!" I say happily.

 

She looks at you awkwardly.
"I have no idea, and I doubt you could impress me with a gift. Here, I'll let you take a look at my hoard. Touch anything, though, and you and your friends never leave alive."
She picks up the two unconscious girls with her tendrils that flow behind her head, almost as if catching an unfelt wind.
She starts walking down the hall.

 

"I see..."

 

I follow Xlentia with a spring in my step.

"I wonder what Ihra will think when she realises we're besties." I say.

 

"I wouldn't consider you a friend yet, though you have done me a favor..."

Upon arriving, you see a room (The size of a large city) lined with jewels, relics, and pretty much anything that would cost your life three times over (or more) that was also shiny.
Just about everything is well over twice your size.
"My hoard... fit for a queen, I'd say." She says smugly.
