Void Rift (rp) - Intermission

Inside the tower, there are lots of books lining the walls. A spiral staircase goes down past all of the books.
At the bottom of the stairs are lots of chests.
A man is writing on a scroll to one side. He doesn't seem to notice Sarin.

"There are lots of monsters there. And the ones there are some of the most dangerous. I could give them some problems using the monsters."

 

"Ah. This should be fun." I contemplate for a few moments. "Tell me, is this metallic body of yours your original?"

 

"No, it isn't my original body. I am still mainly flesh, just with inbuilt laser cannon, a few pieces of metal to replace damaged organs or body parts and of course the jets on my back."

 

"So, you could say that you are similar to Thirteen."

 

I think for a moment, before lightly poking a dragon statue, "Touch." I say, giggling.


"Aj's here?" Katie says, before running over to Abigail and hugging her.

"K-Katie? What are you doi- wait, where's Crelucius? Where...am I?" Abigail asks.

Abigail checks herself over hastily, sighing when she doesn't find wounds.

"You're in the void. Aj's here too with Xlentia."

"Wait WHAT!? Oh no, no no no. I have to go to my fallback plan." Abigail says, running over to her claws and putting them on.

Abigail opens up the wheel of crystals on her left claw and takes out a silver one. Abigail focuses, and the crystal seems to grow and form, until Abigail holds what looks like a silver gun.

"ALRIGHT LISTEN UP!" Abigail shouts, grabbing Katie and putting the silver gun to her head, "YOU TRY AND KILL ME AND THE GIRL GETS IT. TAKE US TO XLENTIA AND AJ, THEN LET US OUT OF HERE!"

Katie shakes, and Abigail has a rather serious expression.

OOC: I found an easy way to write with text is to put two speech marks, then write in the text.

"Yes, I guess we are sort of similar. The difference is, he has been 'enhanced' in ways to try to make him better by his 'creators'. I have done operations on myself to replace destroyed parts of my body and then a few enhancements such as the laser cannon."

 

"Interesting...and that makes Thirteen an...Enhanced Human?"

 

"Yes, he is also made from iron and flesh, but not flesh and iron."

 

"I see."

 

Arnold is silent for a while.
"I'm guessing that you guessed that my body isn't my first body? Because that's a good guess."

 

"I believe I heard it from somewhere. Unless I am hallucinating."

 

"Maybe, it's likely you did hear it from somewhere. Either that or it was a good guess."

 

"Mhm. Anyways, I'd like to ask, how can Hythania threaten your plans?"

 

"Umm... Why are you curling up by the fire place??"

 

OOC: *Claps*

OOC: I REALLY hope you know what that's a reference to.

 

"She is very good at making certain potions. I have been trying to control Idala for a long time, but Hythania's potions have been stopping me for a while."

 

Aj comes across the pair while wandering about.

(Awkward moment commences)

Sarin approaches the man nervously.
"Hello?"

"I don't know. I'm just really tired."

 

"Uh, are you feeling alright Abigail?" I ask.

"Aj! Nice to see you! ALRIGHT LET US OUT OF HERE!" Abigail says, gun held ready.

"Help." Katie whimpers.

Abigail fires the gun upward, and Katie flinches, "I'M FREAKING SERIOUS!" Abigail shouts.

 

The man almost jumps out of his chair.
"Sorry! I'm not used to being around people. Uh, yes?"

 

A crack, a shatter.
A gust of wind.

"AND WHAT PART OF 'DON'T BREAK ANYTHING' DID YOU NOT UNDERSTAND?!"
Xlentia booms, furious.

"Sorry. Um... I was told you might have a spare staff? Mine broke, and I can't find another."
