Void Rift (rp) - Intermission

Stephanie rolls a round, dark purple crystal toward the Mechas. A sphere encompasses the group, increasing gravity severely.

 

Only one is crushed.
They launch a barrage of needles at you.
More Terras leap out of the ground behind you.

 

Artemis forms a thick wooden wall to block the barrage of needles.

Abigail melts the floor around the Terras, and starts slicing away at them.

Stephanie focuses, holding a pair of blue crystals. The entire area around the Mechas begins to freeze, and icy spikes pierce the ground around them.

 

One Terra is cut, and the other two's swordplay bests Abigail, landing her a cut shoulder.
The Mechas warp, still firing needles.
Ethereals approach.

The flash trail fades completely.

 

"Well, we failed. Lets get out of here." My voice echoes.

"Agreed." Abigail says.

 

"No, please! You got their army off her back. She's got me. You certainly did something."
The telepathy is resumed, though his speech is urgent.

 

"So...now what?" I ask.

 

"Stay alive until we get there."
Everything around you charges.

 

I smile at the green dragon.
"I wonder who you are... definitely not a creature from this world. Maybe from the draconian's world..."
Eras looks towards where Ihra was earlier.
"If only there were a way I could follow the others..."

 

"This is...weird." Stephanie comments.

 

"Sgavrinn." He hums, seeming content.

"You can't teleport without me if the portal closes. Go!"

 

The woman walks towards Sgavrinn.
"Hello Sgavrinn. I am Hythania."
The wyvern walks behind her to take a closer look at Sgavrinn but Hythania says, "No, you might scare him."

 

The trio...goes.

OOC: I have no idea where the characters are considering everything changed.

 

Sgavrinn sniffs at the wyvern, shaking his head at Hythania. He turns back to the wyvern and hums.

You're being charged at on all sides. The only place you can go aimlessly is the grave.

 

Darkness surrounds the trio, and a large blast of darkness knocks the attackers away. Stephanie seems rather relieved

"So, uh, where's the way out of here?" I ask, "Time is of the essence.".

Some of the attackers begin to get torn apart with a dark aura surrounding them.

 

The wyvern walks towards Sgavrinn and brings its head closer to sniff Sgavrinn.

 

No more come.
"They're too late to turn their focus. This will be debilitating."
Rineth appears as a four-winged draconian, running alongside Ihra.
"Get close to me. I can only mass phase a certain area."

Sgavrinn does the same, seeming unperturbed.

 

Artemis, Stephanie and Abigail run as close as they can to Rineth. My presence is felt rather strongly.

 

Another draconian dives at you behind Rineth, tackle just as you warp.

A young dark-robed draconian stands in a pile with Rineth, the two wrestling.
"Straggler!"
"But I... Wanted... Out!!"

 

A dark aura surrounds the draconian, lifting him off Rineth. A blade of darkness is held against his neck.

"His continued life is your choice, Rineth." My voice echoes.

"He's innocent! I'm sure he has no bad intentions." Artemis says.

"I don't trust him; he came from the place where people where trying to attack us." Stephanie says.

"I...don't really care." Abigail says, uncaring.
