Void Rift (rp) - Intermission

"Yes, it is I, the evil Doosh" I say, my voice dripping with sarcasm. I turn my head towards Stephanie. "Could you stop that? I'd like to see things with my own eyes now"

 

Stephanie takes her fingers off the eyes of the doll, restoring your vision. She instead places a finger over the doll's mouth, and two beside it's head. You find yourself unable to hear or talk.

It almost looks like Stephanie says "See no evil, hear no evil, speak no evil." but it's hard to tell.

 

I less-than-silently fly over to the group.
I land nearby, noticing the exploded rock, and more importantly, AJ.
I sheath my sword.
I don't have the tree anymore.
I attempt to wipe the froth from AJ's mouth using my rag.
I'm not sure what I'll use it for, but it might be something that I can only get now.

 

"You know, if you want the elixir, you can just ask," Stephanie says, tossing you a black phial, "I don't think you want it pre-mixed with a Shadow's saliva."

 

I catch the phial.
"Thanks."
I say, smiling, getting an idea, putting the phial in my pocket.
I crouch down near AJ, reading my rag.
I wipe the saliva and elixir around his lips, making him look a bit more funny than before.

 

I grab your face.

"Hello Mr. Burger!" I say dumbly, "Did you used to be a cow?"

 

"There was a bit of a quake, parts were shaken."

 

"There's a very small chance. But I high doubt so."
I answer honesty, backing up, observing my greatness.

 

"Cola!" I shout.

A green phial appears in Stephanie's hand, "An ego potion, sir?" She says, smirking.

 

Arnold teleports to the surface before he suffocates.
"Heh... maybe you are right, maybe you are wrong. This all depends on a point of view. And a point of view may or may not depend on the events happening around you."

"I had a fight with a draconian called Tirai. Neither of us won, as both of us are alive."

 

"I'm not sure how those work internally and mentally, so no, I'd rather not. But thanks for the offer."

 

"I LIKE TRAINS!" I blurt out.

"How strong is the elixir you gave him?" Artemis asks, concerned.

"Well, I didn't want him nagging for more so..." Stephanie trails off.

 

"Whooo boy. It's gonna be a fun time to watch him."

 

"Easier said than done. Even a small handful of lesser opponents are dangerous when IN PERFECT SYNC. If that wasn't enough, there's far more than a small handful of them. We'd have to beat hundreds of soldiers who, were it one on one we'd already win, but they're connected. Each and every one of them, with a single exception. And they die if they're caught helping us."

"...how big are they? You've always kept me in the same few hallways."

"Right and wrong are also by perspective... It's a shame you've given in to whatever's tainted you. I must say, I am curious now. Yet, if I stop moving, they won't last. I may consult Eras later, but not without acting like we've never met. I can't form my own opinion if I can't filter discrepancies from others'."

"I can snap him out of it... He just might not be happy about it."

 

Artemis glares at you.

"Maybe we should make you a voodoo doll." Artemis says through gritted teeth.

"I guess there's not much hope; I understand why you're running now." Artemis says, slightly saddened.

 

"Still, we've chased a spark of hope for generations. Yet, we need to think faster than a web... If one figures out our plans, all of them know our plans."

 

I shrug.
"Perchance."

 

"Looks like taking down this hive will need a large force. Maybe, just maybe, if we can cure Xlentia, we could use her." Artemis says.

Artemis looks to Stephanie.

"Meh." Stephanie says calmly.

 

"Hmm... maybe he will tell you. Most likely, he won't. He never liked thinking about it."
Arnold cuts off the telepathic link.
He then teleports away from the location he was at.

 

"The Chronos are the only thing unlinked to the Hive. We could start with them... if we had anywhere to go."

Tirai chuckles, dropping to his knees.
"Ah, this world is proving rather amusing. I best not forget my purpose."
