Void Rift (rp) - Intermission

I come flying forwards again.
The brick hits a whole load of air.
"So, eh..."
I say, suspiciously.
"We're done?"

 

"Yep. That was a good training session" I say. You notice the bricks fade into nothingness. They're just illusions.

 

"Yeah. It was a good fight."
I think for a moment.
"Bye."
I say, flying in the direction of Rineth and the group.

 

Nerd correction time: shockwaves bend around objects. It's why you can blow out a candle on the other side of a round glass bottle (but not something like a hard-edged box).

I'm still sitting where I sat down before, sipping tea, completely innocent-looking, (still) acting as if no battle had been happening at all. I look up.

"Tea?" I ask, raising the kettle.

 

Sgavrinn seems interested in the offer despite appearing to be well aware he isn't the intended recipient.

"So why don't you assassinate the Hive Leader, free your kind from the mind control, then go about fixing things?" Artemis asks.

 

"No thanks. I have my own set" I say, before descending into the ground.

I resurface beside Artemis. "Artemis, don't you think they've tried that before? Anyways, if this hive is like a bee hive, a new leader will just rise, so in a way, it might be futile"

 

"Well, if it's a bee hive, we just need to stop the new queen from being incubated. If we can stop the royal line, we can wrestle control of the hive." Artemis says.

 

"True, though you have to remember that these hive guys are essentially the perfect soldiers. We can't trick them or whatever, since they're being mind controlled. If you ask me, you'll need some kind of miracle to pull this one off" I look at AJ. "What's going on with him?"

 

"Nyanyanyanyanyanyanyanyanyanyan" I say, rolling around, multi-coloured liquid drooling from my mouth.

"Elixir addictions. The one he's under has odd effects on him; I don't know why he likes it." Stephanie explains.

"I'd be concerned if it wasn't for the fact we were both addicted to poison at one point." Artemis says.

 

"I say you ration his elixirs so that he'll be forced to use them in moderation." I think for a second. "Or you could just lock him in a room and not give him any elixirs"

 

"He's not doing himself any harm. I let him have his fun." Stephanie says.

"He's only mildly addicted anyway." Artemis adds.

 

"I don't want to nitpick, but I doubt he has any fighting capabilities while on his elixir. I bet if one of us sneak attacked him, he'd be caught off guard."

 

"No I wouldn't." I say, standing upright, before collapsing again.

"Don't underestimate Shadows." Artemis says, grinning.

 

"Don't underestimate me." I reply, grinning.

 

Stephanie causes you to faceplant the ground again with your voodoo doll.

"Don't underestimate us." Stephanie says, grinning. A blank voodoo doll floats in the air next to her. Suddenly, a barrage of needles begins rapidly piercing the doll, tearing it apart.

The tattered, unrecognisable remains of the doll fall in front of you. Stephanie gives you an evil smile.

 

"My point stands" I say, grinning, preparing for an attack. I release a barrage of fireballs on a rock.

 

Stephanie inserts a needle into the voodoo doll, and you begin to feel an intense pain.

Abigail is awoken by the fireballs, "Huh, bad guys? Where?" Abigail says, sitting up.

 

I continue the barrage of fireballs into the Rock, finally stopping by smashing it with a vine. "That was a good excercise" I say, grinning.

 

Stephanie removes the needle and instead presses on the eyes of the doll for a moment. Your vision completely blacks out.

"Oh it's just this doosh." You hear Abigail say.
