I don't know why it hasn't been fixed yet, but it's really annoying. :/

 

It's especially annoying when you get a like on a comment...

 

Yeah.
Sometimes when I get a like on a comment, I want to know what comment I got it on without having to go the long route.

 

I don't know if you have noticed it or not, but Tama is no longer an admin. I don't know if any of our other admins have much experience with the forum, except for Grian, and we know what happened the last time that he tried to fix anything dealing with the forums *cough*9/7*cough*, besides which, I've been told that he's very busy with the game code. Hence, hang loose. Until the admins find someone competent to deal with the forum issues, the minor issues won't be rapidly fixed.

EDIT: I totally did not fix the 9/17 to 9/7.

Honestly I think the reason for this is because profile post comments aren't as "important" as normal profile posts, I mean they weren't able to be liked until last year. But yeah I have to admit that this is pretty irritating, especially for all those people who are usually only active on profile posts.


Also I was born on 9/17 so I guess that counts as something that happened.

 

I don't know what happened on 9/17/15, either, and I don't know why you are asking me about it, too. Confused? So am I? So, I am. Or was. Thanks for pointing that out. I didn't just totally edit the "9/17" to "9/7", either. I think the Great Forum Wipe may have gotten to my memory, somehow.

 

This issue is really old, it exists since I've been on the forums.
It's not only for liked comments, it also happens when someone tags you in a comment. It happens for the same reason, you can't link profile comments. I think this is because of the sheer number of them it will be hard making a link for every profile post comment.

Technically, I'm pretty sure @Syaoran3 would have the skills to fix it...

All they would need after that is another developer so people stop using "they only have 1 dev" as an excuse
