So I Had This Happen Today.

So I hate SSP. (survival singleplayer). I'm so used to playing SMP that trying to play SSP makes me feel lonely.


But I did it anyway.

So after I found a decent seed to use, I went to a nearby village with a blacksmith.

What you are about to see was NOT modified at all, the world was completely vanilla, and there was no Loot Table set up.


Ready? Okay...








3 diamonds, 3 apples, an iron helmet and boots, 2 saddles, and 2 gold.


Now seeing as I rarely play SSP, i don't know if this is normal, but when I used to play Minecraft, and opened blacksmith chests, I'd get 2 apples and maybe an iron ingot.


Please don't go "wow bruh u suck" if you have gotten better. I'm just surprised seeing as I have never gotten a better blacksmith chest in my years of playing Minecraft.

They removed the recipe for the Golden Notch Apple, so im not surprised they raised the loot tier in chests found around the world. (you can only get the notch apple from chests now ;-; )

 

blacksmith chests can only have 8 different stacks of items in them. you have 12.

 

I think you forgot about the new Loot Table system in 1.9, they changed how all loot works, so it doesn't matter if there is 2 stacks or 15 stacks.

I have no idea if this is a glitch or not. This is just what I found in a chest. I swear, it is not modified at all.

its not an opinion. its a fact that it cant happen. glitches cant happen randomly at any time to anything.

This was 100% legit. I created the world from scratch, no mods, no loot table. If you don't think this is true, deal with it. Because I'm not trolling.

Yeah the new loot tables allows for more item stacks, I believe Oryx that this wasn't modified.

I'm not exact, but I know when you spawn, there should be a desert village in the distance, and next to you is a forest. Near that forest is a village.

 

Great work! Now get that one biome I once found with:
- About 6 blocks of obsidian
- A few pieces of armour
- A few scraps of food
- A few diamonds and iron ingots

And then I found another one with 3 blacksmiths. I didn't even know that was possible.
But though obsidian is rare, this is probably a more valuable find. Great work!

 

Got that in another village nearby the first one. (the seed I used had 2 villages, both with blacksmiths

 

Just noticed the directions you gave... yep, same one. I'm guessing you looked up the seed? Either that or you were extremely lucky.
