"As for magicians, yes. There are only a couple left. I know one of em, but she hates my company. Something about accidentally shredding up her guest bed in my sleep..... Yeah....."

"Okay you lost me at the musket and magic pockets....." he said, a little wary "I got magic pockets, but not like, dimentions and such. I just got these."
*He reaches into his pocket and pulls out a fully grown oak tree, before slotting it back inside*
"Actually, it might be dimentions. Hell if i know, my tailor made em for me. She's the sweetest old lady i've ever met. Dunno if she's still alive or not, i'll have to go check on her this week or so."

"Yep. I once lived in a town....They realised something was up, since i never slept and i always dissappeared into the forest at night. The next day they'd find some hulking vicious beast outside in the forest, claw marks running down its body. Very much dead. They hated that because they thought they could protect themselfes just fine..."

"They're gone..." i say, tone shifting to a dark and serious one "Died 10 years ago, the whole town was invaded by a rather...unpleasant....band of mercenaries known as "The Shade Armada"

"The same group that wiped out the riders and the other drakes. I'm the last of my kind. Probably a palace worth of gold on my head. Well, they don't know that I'm a halfling of my type. The others were either 3 parts dragon to 1 part human, or vice versa. I'm the only one, and unfortunately that means this type will not live on once i am gone. Drakes obtain the main trait of their 2 parents upon birth, so if i married a human, it'd be a quarter dragon and 3 quarters human, or if i married a dragon, well obviously i wouldnt seeing as i take the form of a human, it would be 3 parts dragon to 1 human."

"Oh, sorry, i got distracted."

"Yeah, well, humanity has been diluted a bit. People are too stupid to know what hits em imbetween the eyes. Either they're kind or they're an evil megalomaniac....Sometimes imbetween." i say, a little cocky "But frankly, i doubt they'll even notice that my steed or i even exist. The nightflame, i mean."

*Gestures south-east to the nearby city of Ferstrum, to the tallest building*
"There's where you'll find the innkeeper" i say, warily "Be careful around him. He's not just some old geezer running a hotel. He's a retired member of the shade armada. I'd take him down, but he says by his word he's changed. So i'm giving him the benifit of the doubt"

 

"Thanks for the exposition Shadow. I can kinda relate since I also got a bounty on my head."
*Looks at Ferstrum*

"Do you think they noticed us? You know...with you flying your dragon here and all."

 

"Nonsense, given how cliche this day has been so far, I'd say no-one noticed the giant, fifty foot dragon that just burnednuphalf this illusioned desert..."

She isnt 50 feet tall. Unless you forgotten, she's only a little bit bigger than a warg, but her wingspan IS pretty big. So maybe you could think she's 50 feet long." he said

"GOD DAMMIT I JUST CAN'T LEAVE YOU ALONE FOR 7 MINUTES, YOU STUPID REPTILE" i say, frusteratedly at the Nightflame
"THIS IS THE 4TH TIME THIS WEEK!"

*a smirk runs across my face*
"Know what, you've been a pain to me. I'm not going to name you anything cool. No, you wont be the next Thunderclaw or Flare. I'm gonna call you....."

What should i name the dragon? Give me ideas ;D

 

"I'll go up on ahead. I think I heard something."

The Lieutenant left his division and crept through the musty hallways. Careful not to make as much as a cat's breath of sound, he crept forwards. In the dimly lit corridors, one could only hope for a goblin would attack you, but what hit him was much worse. All he could do was make a whimper as his spin was severed, and wait for his body to decay.

"Recon something happened to Daniel?"
"If it was, it just proves his incompetence,"
"Oh well, of course you would say that. Come on. The lot of you follow me. We're gonna find out just where that bugger has gotten himself into."

The eight men, coated in dark green padded armor with steel helms, each pointed a spear, crossbow, or sword in their respective direction as the unit advanced slowly forwards. They where determined not to become silent like the lieutenant, but one thing was for certain. Everything that entered this hole died.

 

(P.S. it took me half an hour to figure this font out, closest thing to that i could find. Anyway, Bruce or Ralph would be nice jokes, Bruce Banner, Wreck it Ralph, ETC)
