I keep hearing back and forth between people so Id like to hear from an owner as to whether it effects it or not

You should probably be asking Jumla as he is the one that codes the game mechanics into the gameplay. Or atleast both of them.

It has been tested and xp gear and wisdom pots do affect quests. @Broettinger tested a quest with the xp gear and w/o the xp gear, and there was a difference.

 

Wisdom potions, yes, XP gear, no.

Theoretically, including the possibility that XP gear somehow suddenly affects quests, the total would be...

= 4,837,500
+ Wisdom = 15% of 1,250,000 = 187,500
= 5,025,000
x 3(TXP) = 15,075,000 XP

This is with the belief that the Wisdom potion isn't 15% of the XP Gear's XP, that XP gear does affect quests, and that the order in which they are applied to the XP reward is Gear, Potion, XP Bombs/Weekend.

TL;DR come on it's not even that long.

Anyway, it means that this isn't necessarily correct, so don't quote me saying that this is the definitive max amount of xp you can get from one quest.

Anyone else throw away the wisdom pots before gavel, I surely can't be alone here?

 

Lemme confirm that they do effect the xp given from quests. You can even assume it because if it wasnt, wisdom potions would be useless

I was never a level 45 before Gavel... I never felt the pain of losing an item worth a lot. until I sold a 33 xp 33 loot 2/2 mana jester necklace for a half decent scythe and 1le. rip

 

I never knew this until after I finish like 90% of the quests....
