A Dying Land (rp)

So, this is gonna be a little similar to void rift, with a few tweaks.

1: You can join in and exit the RP whenever you like, without applying. If you want to be a main character and co-operate with me or other mains, you WILL have to apply first. What i mean by this is, you can post as long as you don't bug the actual applied players.

1.5: If you want to join someone else's section, ask THEM. Not me. Its their time and characters, not mine. If you want to interact with ME, i'm fine with it. Just don't pester my character for no good reason, or godmod.

2: There will be 5 chosen "admins" of the RP, whom will control the environment, random foes your character will come across during their adventures, and other such things. If their post is important, they must use a tag of some kind like "ENMY" or "Enemy" for enemy, "EVRMT" or "Envoronment" etc etc blah blah blah.

Shadow (Me): A drake, or more commonly known as draconic warrior, is a distant, chilling figure. Tall in stature, always donning a cloak as black as night, his piercing blue eyes show a past of pain and mercy, Joy and mercilessness. Nobody quite understands him, but perhaps that is for the better.


Kat, the anthropomorphic cat. A merciful person, who would rather talk it out, instead of ending a foe's life. If worst comes to worst, he has some experience as a spellcaster, but not enough to make a big difference


DJ kreeper, Melee. Artist of the wind and fleet-footed soldier, his dagger is a cold friend. Once met Shadow while roaming a forest, but has never seen him since.


Khihone, a cryomantic elf, blades of pure fridgid ice, Rumored to come from far-off glaciers.
Many beasts and undead have fallen to her, A wild, sperratic fighting style is her trade secret.


Slevis, Ranged. a dark elf from a land forgotten. Powered by the art of necromancy, he is a mighty foe or friend


"Luke" the soldier turned adventurer. Met shadow and was spared. Always lives to see another day.


Keniethe Uluster, a megalomaniac at its finest. He has amassed an army, and grown so twisted that its hard to tell he is even partly human. He spends most of his days roaming and pillaging, or sheltered away in moonlight keep


Arisius, the "elf" with some humor. Also once a criminal, like Slevis, he seems too much of a comedic type to be of much worth in the criminal underground of this age. He doesnt really use a weapon much, but Shadow can tell you first-hand that his sass has enough of a sting to outmatch a dagger.

Preferred weapon: Duel wielding two swords made of pure ice.
Powers or traits that wouldnt be found in said species/race. (I.E. A human with color-changing eyes and ice magic): Her swords freeze anything the blade touches (covers it in ice). Her swords can melt if exposed to hear, converting them into swords made of water.

Hellion

Made from the bones of his fallen enemies, both human and monster, Hellion is a spear roughly 240cm long, with two blades protruding from the shaft. Formidable during the day, it's wielder is granted inhuman streangrh and reactions when the sun sets. It grows stronger the closer it gets to daybreak, however as the sun's first light touches the blade, the wielder loses all strength and collapses.

Keniethe acquired Hellion upon slaying a demon of the nether-realm, and used his spear to seat away the scorching blood. Upon killing his next foe, Keniethe immediately felt the spear grow in power, and felt himself become stronger as well.

The more Keniethe used the weapon, the more he craved power. Slowly he built a kingdom from a castle of his own design, now called 'Moonlight Keep', due to the fact that the trees around it move to allow moonlight in, and shield the castle at day.

Living alone, Keniethe wanders the land, and uses his power to enlist soldiers and to grow his wealth. Oppressing the locals with his military is a favorite past time, and often, pillaging towns.

So here you are, standing in a great, vast field. A dragons cry of anguish, echoing through the hollowed mountains to the west. It has all come down to this. You've been hunting for it for many suns and many moons. Perhaps this is not it, or perhaps it is. Its all a mystery until you enter that dark, echoing tunnel ahead of you...Treasure, a new life, a new land, who knows what lies on the other side.


A brisk breeze flutters by you, carrying the faint scent of gunpowder and fire
You reach for the lock, a rusty old pile of scrap metal, from centuries past, and rip it from its socket, it crumbles to dust in your hand. Could all this power go to waste? Should it? "No, I'll keep it. Some of it, at least" you think to yourself, but you know that's a lie. Your power has brought nothing but suffering. Time cannot change, but a person can.

My chance to get in a rp! It's not that impressive but eh
Character name: I'm bad with names, please help me.
Species/Race: Cat
Preferred fighting style: Isn't really the fighter. Rather would talk things out instead of fighting, but if it comes at it, he stands mostly aside using some spells. Not that experienced.
Preferred weapon: Just a normal wand(stick), could find later in the rp a better wand.
Special traits: Used to be a "normal" light blue cat at Mage Island, but a spell went wrong - he became a anthropomorfic (did i spell that right?) cat, and decided to travel around the province to learn to become a great Mage.

Some info about my character:
He is a wanted criminal because he uses necromancy on innocent people. (Wanted DEAD) With that said, he have to sneak around cities, and live in remote places.
His personality is that he is very sarcastic, also a dick.

Slevis will start off being captured by bounty hunters. They are basically one tough guy, and one weaker guy.
He wakes up in a basement. All he has is his cloak. He see his gear with the weaker bounty hunter.

"He has good stuff. Some food, a very black staff, a book, dagger..."
"Stop saying his stuff out loud."
"Ok then. Should we put him in jail?"
"And risk him killing us during transit? He's wanted dead with a high bounty."
"Then why did you knock him out?"
"..."

"That is a good question. If I'm wanted dead, then why did you knock me out?"
The bounty hunters turned to look at him.
"He's awake."
"Gimme the dagger. I'm going to kill him"

"No shit."

Preferred style: Precision Archery, takes arrows off of dead corpse as warning shots.
Preferred weapon: Bow, if out of arrows, carries small musket Carry's flint and steel to light the arrow
Special Traits: Wears a hood, similar to my skin, but wears only grieves and leggings.

Arisius was on his way though a large desert, no clue as how it could be this big, since he practically breathed the map he carried with him
"Would be nice is this was a dessert, but it's still still a desert."
Shortly after saying that, he noticed a small ravine, filled to the brim with water,
*Well, its not on the map, but eh, cant always be a daddy's boy.*
He walked towards the ravine, only to see the water is deeper down, and it had tons of mirrors down inside.
*What? this is the desert, who would-*
His thought was interrupted by a huge gust of wind out of no-where, pushing him in.
The the next thing he know's, 4 people are examining him, talking Amongst themselves
"How is he still alive? our desert should have killed, the heat, the distance, all of it,"
"Agreed, maybe we should examine him, he's as good as dead anyway, considering where he's going."
He had enough
"You know doc, my knee's a bit sore, patch me up, will ya?"
Considering what he heard, he should start stalling, see how cliche these guys are, somehow, he didn't need to, because they just heard of a break in, and went to check it out.
"Doc, hey! Don't start being Cliche! You KNOW SOME GUY IS GONNA COME RESCUE ME WHILE YOU"RE GONE!" He shouted as loud as he could, but they had soundproofed everything
"Hmph, i hate cliche people."
