The Unwritten Rules Of Wynncraft

By this I don't mean the normal, boring rules that are the same on every server and get you banned if you break them. These rules are more along the lines of common sense. Hence why they go unwritten. But I feel like writing typing some of them, and I would like to hear some of the other unwritten rules that people follow. And tell me if you agree with mine!

1) Always have an extra set of armor and a weapon you can use just in case you lose all your stuff.

2) Always carry at least a Detlas scroll, and/or a Cinfras scroll if you're in Gavel. At the very least, have a scroll for a city in Wynn and a city in Gavel.

3) Normal items are an absolute last resort. In fact, they're not a resort at all. Don't use them.

4) Never sell Legendary items to the item buyer. Somebody somewhere will pay a hell of a lot more for a Legendary item than any item buyer would.

5) Don't steal people's kills when they're grinding, especially if they were there first.

6) If you keep dying and you're low on Soul Points, don't go back to the same place to try again and hope you get lucky this time. You won't feel very lucky when you're left with nothing but a level 1 normal weapon and a bad case of the rage quits.

7) Don't ask random people to give you a weapon or armor for free. Nothing is free. Besides, the trade market forum exists for a reason. Random people are not your personal shop thread.

You missed one:
No housing suggestions.

 

I mean you don't ever want to carry a cinfras scroll if you can get a detlas one for 16emeralds and then just go to cinfras for free.....

 

These seem to be more as a kindness to your fellow player instead of "rules". Or as RIP says, suggestions. A few are even only dictated based on how the person wants to play. But they pretty decent tips all the same. ;)

 

Always keep at least 24 / 32 EB on you? I dunno, I always do that.

 

Never sell set items/rare items. They're not as prized as legendaries (Or close to mythics), but still sell way above the item buyer price.

I have the vip+ rank and for some reasons alot of people think its cool to just randomly ask me for free stuff (and other things :P).
Aswell people kill stealing, I mean I typically understand where their coming from but its not that cool.
Laatly the SP thing is common sense but I've done it before anyways xD but yeah these are more or so tips you should follow.

I actually had one and sold it for like 320 emeralds

 

Why? I already have extremely quick routes from city to city. I can get from molten heights to llevigar in about 5 mins.

 

There's a level 100 archer build that uses a normal weapon and can do 4.5k neutral damage bomb arrows... just saying...

 

I get so mad when I have been grinding at a place for a while and then somebody comes on and steals my kills, then when I say something like "Can you please switch servers for me" they say something like "I can stay here if I want" then they keep stealing my kills and don't leave just to annoy me.

Eh, #5 i cant completely agree with for higher tier- hogging the entire freezing heights is kinda dickish and in reality DANGEROUS unless you have healing capability... If its a squad of people, then yeah, sure, but just one maybe not

 

Yeah, but would you pay 2EB to get there instantly or risk dying on the way?

 

I think these rules are not ancient enough to be 'unwritten'. Lemme fix it.

1) Thee must at each moment has't spare armor, f'r at which hour the time cometh, thee won't regret having 't.
2) Thee must at each moment carryeth a scroll of teleportation to a city.
3) Nev'r in thy life thee must useth items of normal quality, f'r these art the weakest of sorts.
4) Nev'r selleth items of legends to a trader, f'r someone out thither mighteth needeth 't.
5) Doth not steal a spot of grinding from a fellow brother.
6) Thee must not wend out in the wilds with the danger of gear-losing.
7) Nev'r must thee beg for free items, for not'ing is costless in this world.
