Void Rift (rp) - Intermission

"Oh no you don't!" I say, disappearing into the ground as spears made of vines suddenly rise form the ground.

 

"Uh oh."
I go more vertically, lightly scorching the spears.
I stop at a tree, and hide around it.

Vines start making a mad dash towards you.

 

"Bro, I can learn you how to rocket boots and I'll learn you how to 'board." Abigail says, looping around you.

"That poor girl! I only wish to meet her more now." Katie says, a slight sadness to her voice.

"She sounds rather troubled." Stephanie says.

"Skateboardz." Abigail half-whispers as she skates past you, doing a hand-stand on her board.

Abigail and I grind on some of the vines as they prime to attack 13, doing tricks and jumping from vine to vine.

"This is some delirious biznasty yo!" I shout, flipping off a vine and onto another.

 

"You're welcome" I mutter as more vines sprout from the ground.

 

I wait until the vines get near me, then jump over, using the rocket feet, and land of the trail.

 

"Huh? Oh... R-right. Sorry, Aforl."
He still seems captivated by the view.
"Were there ever any people who lived there?"

Rineth calls Ihra, then turns to Katie.
"Seems she came to us. She has a few companions... Still. If you want to meet her, you can go around me or I'll move you the way I do Ihra. The latter is faster, but I can guarantee you're not used to it."

 

The vines make a turn and continue to rush towards you. Several spear-vines Rush towards you from another side.

 

"Uhm, the latter?" Katie says nervously.

Stephanie focuses for a moment, before disappearing in a purple flash.

Abigail and I skate past Katie rather quickly.

 

Rineth grabs Katie with his tail and gently places her on the other side of him.

Ihra notices.

"Oh, Xephyr! This is Stephanie, and that's Katie."
"Hello, you two. Nice to meet you." She bows.

 

Katie seems a little frightened by the experience, yet stays relatively calm.

"Nice to meet you, too." Stephanie says happily; only having re-appeared a moment ago.

"Hey, Xephyr, do you like water and ice?" Katie asks, smiling.

 

"Yes. As a Cryo, I wield ice."
Her breath is freezing... The temperature drops around her.

 

"Awesome!" Katie says happily.

The entire area around Katie freezes. Abigail and I skate across the icy ground, some of the ice melting in Abigail's wake.

"Looks like you dudettes took a chill pill." I say as I skate past.

Stephanie raises her hands, and the sky goes dark with clouds. A slight snow begins to fall.

 

"Takeoff in 10... 9..."
I start up my rocket feet, but I grab onto the base of a vine.
"8... 7... 6..."
I say as I start putting my rocket feet on the vine.
"5... 4... 3..."
I cancel my rocket feet and jump off the vine.
"2... 1..."
I start running.
"Liftoff!"
I start flying away.

 

"Laaaaaaaaaaaame." Abigail shouts up to you, flipping on her skateboard.

 

"The objective was to burn him."
I shout back.
"And I'm pretty sure it worked."
Still getting used to flying, I wobble a bit before straightening.

 

"Yeah but...you don't say '10 9...1 Liftoff!' you need something snazzy." Abigail says, flying up to you.

"Someone should take you to boarding school!" Abigail says, hitting you around the head with her skateboard.

 

Xephyr feeds Avis an ice crystal.
"Heh. You like the cold?"
The temperature drops.

 

"I can withstand it." Katie says, smiling and raising her hands.

A large blast of water erupts from under her, before freezing. Katie becomes frozen in a large ice-geyser, yet she seems completely fine.

"Who's your new pet?" Artemis asks, looking at Avis.

 

OOC: What about the Dread Dragon... that thing was falling on top of one Tirai.
