What Do You Think About The Assassin?

Hey guys, I'm here to listen to your opinion.

I've recently started the assassin and I think that it's pretty good for now (lvl. 26), but on the server, on youtube, on the forum and so on... the majority of the people say that assassin isn't good. on the contrary, it really really sucks.

I feel like.. disappointed and embittered about what they say (Yeah i know it could seem stupid) because I fell cheated as I've spent much time on levelling it and now I've found out it sucks and it's quite useless (I don't really think so tho).

So.. what do you think about the assassin? Is it a good class? Because if it isn't, I will start with a new class instead of losing more time on it.

And.. sorry for eventual mistakes but I am not English :P

 

Spent a lot of time on level 26? Buddy, I got level 94 in 20 hours of playtime, you could not have spent THAT much time.

Anyway, I am not going to argue that assassin is beyond horrid. That will most assuredly turn this into a flamewar. Yes, we know you can use the shift key @Everyonewhowouldsaythat. As I use assassin as a secondary class, I will say

It is definitely usable.

But, in a matchup against any other class, in both pve and pvp, it is by far the weakest class. All of the classes have stronger defensive, offensive, and mixed capabilities, with the exception of archer, which cannot match assassin defense. Basically, it has no advantage that every other class takes for granted, with the exception of some interesting weapons that other classes obviously have no access to in the endgame. Though this is true, I cannot wholeheartedly say that it is in any way GOOD, rather that its PLAYABLE.

Honestly, if you like the whole vanish-multithit combination over other classes, and like how the elements alter the general feel of the class, stick with it. Like I said after the mage debuff, which affected me as a mage, I did not care: as I played the class because I liked the playstyle; not because I wanted to be the strongest.

Another note, buffs and nerfs happen all the time, at any time. What is the weakest now may be the strongest in a few months. Stick with it if you like it. If you chose it because of videos made before gavel showing a 70/70 defense warrior being one hit by a 0/0 offense multihit, choose a different class.

 

I talk about this alot. Lemme sum up simply for you.

You are going to need a good horse to get anywhere and assasain isnt that good during the endgame COMPARED TO OTHER CLASSES (Dont spam me with the BS about how its good if you know how to use it because thats the same with every class)

Archer is the only class it can really kill but you need to be lucky enough to hit it at all

 

assassin has cool playstyle that i prefer personnally
other than that ...his dmg turned so low after gavel update..
maybe if u like doing a lot of dmg and be kinda immortel..go mage..ranged op class that can get full heal with 3 mana ( i think)
Archer arrow bomb wreck shit
Warrior is kinda tough to beat..great dmg he has especially that mythics he owns ...which supposed to be a DEFENSIF class not OFFENSIF class

Assassin is classy

 

6 base mana, but after all the int that one would invest, basically 3

 

Yeah, I have got a mage lvl 60, but I don't like it anymore. It stewed me and it's really tough to play in the first levels, especially if you're new and you don't know how to use your skill points.
Anyway.. 1 hour ago I've created another class: the archer.. mmm..i don't really like it.. it is too normal.... you know...too simply and basic (Yeah i know I can't judge a class for the first levels but I've seen some videos xD ), I prefer Assassin combat style.. it's cool and stealthy and so phsyco xD I love it Hahahaha.

Sooo I won't listen to all of these small talk like "Assassin is weak, assassin sucks". I will play the assassin :)

Maybe one day I will try to play the archer again but.. the real question is: How can people play it? Come on! Okay, it is REALLY strong but.. it's not funny! It's so mainstream and overplayed and boring!

Now I do understand you @Ironraptor3, It's better playing a class for his playstyle instead of his strenght as many people do.

Someone finally understands me :( but I still play on archer because of lvl 70

I've solod the hardest boss in-game with my assassin, so I'd say it's pretty good, if you know how to use it the right way.

 

Before or after the spell fix? . - . Just curious, all the classes can do this tho, doesn't give assassin the edge (Though I am pretty edgy myself)

 

My Thoughts

 

Assassin is just a difficult class to play. Done. I'm not gonna say whether it sucks or it needs to be buffed or whateves.

 

After. The spell fix didnt really effect me. It only took away about 50 spell damage.

 

Personally, I love the assassin class. But I kind of have an interesting history with wynncraft (I was inactive for 8 months until January, so I can't really compare the old assassin and the new assassin), so I really didn't notice anything different until, like you, I saw people talking on the forums about how assassin sucked. Personally, I think they balanced assassin pretty well with the other classes, but that's just me.

 

Assassin sounds the coolest out of all of the four classes in my opinion, if that's any consolation.

 

Assassin is a great class if you use it well, like all classes. All of the classes have a different playing style so they are all going to be different. Use it right and you can do great things!

 

To sum everything up, assassin is a viable class. Though it's absolute shit garbage in comparison to other classes, and the developers are too lazy to do shit about it

you wont know what the class even FEEL like unless you are level 56 or above
you just created an archer and think it is normal? thats just because you give up way too fast.

and yes assassin sucks
