Void Rift (rp) - Intermission

I reform on top of the dragon's head, throwing reins of pure light energy around its head and into its mouth.

"This one would make a nice pet."

 

Aura immediately stops rusting once out of the water. However, its wings, which also seem to be metal, are torn and gaps are visible in metallic armour.
Suddenly, the rusted scales drop away into a shed skin. A new set of scales is visible underneath the old set.
The Leoseal jumps onto the iceberg.

You notice that a few dark bolts exploding on the bubble. Eras is just outside the bubble.
The dragon itself starts floating towards Katie's iceberg.

It screeches in anger and tries to through you off. Very solid bubbles fly towards you from its mouth. Other bubbles touch you and burst, except that the burst stings a lot.

 

"Oh no."
I draw my sword, terrified for the impact to come.
I try to poke a hole in the bubble, or anything I can use to get out.
Then I try to push the bubble to the side.

 

Katie notices the dragon, and dives underwater. A few moments later, a large volley of icey spikes erupt from the water under the dragon; Katie freezing the water around her and sending the spikes upward.

The bubble moves with you inside of it; it seems pushing it is the only way to move.

 

The bubble doesn't burst and it is too large to move.
The Shadecorn leaps up, horn pointed towards Thirteen.

The dragon screams in pain. The blood, which was already reddened with blood, is starting to turn dark red around the dragon.

The Leoseal makes a seal noise. It then dives into the water and starts tearing apart the dragon, making blood fill the water even quicker. 7
By now Luphyx is coated in lots of dragon blood. (@Possumness )

Aura then turns to the Shadecorn. The look it gives the Shadecorn plainly says, "This time you are screwed."

'Arnold' and Idala and still fighting on the other iceberg.

 

"I have to hamster ball this around, don't I."
I say to myself, and push it once more.
"I totally do."
I sigh, dejected.

"Here we go!"
I brace myself, pointing my sword diagonally to block the horn if it comes through.

OOC: It's AJ's deal if it moves. So it moved. It's AJ's character's bubble.

 

Katie looks at the Leoseal with a smile.

"Who's a good boy? Who's my little dragon killer?" Katie says with a cutesy tone, petting the Leoseal.


I swim Artemis down to her forest; a shimmer revealing it's encased in a bubble. I push at the bubble with extreme force, eventually falling through.

Katie swims up to your bubble, "Need a little help?" She asks sweetly, as a large group of stepping stone-esce icebergs forms around you.

Katie lifts up your bubble, an iceberg forming below it, and then pops it with her trident; causing you to land on the iceberg.

 

"Thanks."
I steady myself on the ice, sword still drawn, and prepare to dodge the Shadecorn instead of block.

 

OOC: Wait... oh right! I thought you meant the one surrounding the arena for some reason XD.

The Shadecorn narrowly misses you. It then turns back round to charge again.

The Leoseal... attempts something which vaguely looks like a smile. Can Leoseals even smile anyway?
It then bites a chunk out of the dragon's tail and offers it to Katie.

 

"Oh, uh, thanks!" Katie says, accepting the tail chunk.

Katie looks at the chunk, then to the Leoseal, "You...want me to eat this?" Katie says, giving the Leoseal a nervous look.

 

The Leoseal looks at Katie expectantly.

 

"Looks like you missed!"
I yell at the Shadecorn.
"Come on at me for round 2!"
I taunt the Shadecorn, keeping my sword at the ready.

 

"Damn seal, I wanted a dragon pet," I grumble.

"You could probably save the dragon for Aj, he seems to enjoy eating raw meat," I say to Katie.

I'm floating slowly down, held up by the residual energy released when the dragon ripped through the reins.

 

Katie stares at the chunk for a while, before finally taking a bite.

Katie retches slightly, but manages to keep it down, "Mmm! How...de-licious." She says, turning pale.

"Oh cool, hook me up with some dat dragon meat." Abigail says, floating over, staring at the chunk.

"Please...be my...guest." Katie says, passing the chunk through Abigail's bubble.

It looks as if the meat darkens a little in Abigail's hands before she bites into it, eating the rest of the chunk.

"Phuck Aj, he's too bushy saving his girlfriend." Abigail says as she bites into the chunk.

Katie doesn't look at all well after eating the dragon meat.

 

OOC: It was actually dead anyway. The Leoseal just felt like having Foam Dragon for whatever time of the day meal this should be (yes, they are called Foam Dragons).

As if on cue, the Leoseal brings the Foam Dragon's head down towards the forest. It then lets the head sink towards it and it swims back up towards Thirteen.

You suddenly find yourself knocked into the water by a over happy Leoseal. The Shadecorn's horn shatters on the mane. The Shadecorn screeches, once again covered in the icy armour.
Just in time too, because a blast of wind hits it in the face as the Wind Dragon hovers above it.

 

The head lands beside me, yet I seem too concerned with Artemis to notice it.


"That's one cool pet you have Katie." Abigail says.

"He's not really my pet, he just took affection to me; as did I with him." Katie replies happily.

 

As this happens, the Leoseal climbs back onto the iceberg.

 

I close my mouth, to not inhale any water.
I flip over with the Leoseal, making me closer to the surface.
I swim up to the surface, and and lay on the iceberg, face down.
"Ahhh... Gahhh..."
I let the water drain out of my eyes.

 

"Who's my good little boy? Yes, you are!" Katie says in a cutesy voice, petting the Leoseal.

"Are you taking him home with you? N-Not to say I want you to leave." Abigail says.

"Would you like that? Would you like to come home to my big ocean with me?" Katie says with her cutsey voice, before turning to Abigail, "It's fine; Stephanie explained everything when she came to get me. I'll probably head back home when all this is over."

"It was nice seeing you, anyway." Abigail says, smiling.

"You too. Besides, I don't want to invade on your adventure; I have stuff to do too." Katie says, smiling back.

 

The Leoseal looks very happy.

You see the frenzy of wind blasts, tornados, frost and lightning where you were before. The two monsters are hidden inside.
Suddenly the Shadecorn's limp body is cast out of the battle and onto the other iceberg...
...and straight into Arnold just as he was about to land a mace blow to Idala's head.
He hastily teleports away before he becomes part of Aura's meal.
