Mage Vs Warrior

I will not say anything about my own PoV i will just say the fact

Mage: deals 20k meteor
Mods: That is way too op lets nerf it

Warrior: deals 100k uppercut (this is real)
Mods: It is perfectly fine and balanced

All above statements are not madeup

When has a Warrior ever done a 100k Uppercut? Could you cite your evidence?

Alkatraz easily does well over 80k uppercuts now, ask psychotherapy or @Ripjaw95 for their damage outputs. Also if you are trying to be critical, I can be too: Your*

 

The way classes are meant to be different isn't dependent on how easily they can kill someone, more on the way the specialize in killing it, or in mages term, keeping something/someone alive.


Warrior is a tank class.
Archer is a ranged class
Assassin is more of a sneaky class.
Mage is a supporter class



So it's understandable why warrior would do more damage then Mage.
Although 80-100k is a bit absurd.

 

Sorry if I sounded harsh, I thought he was just over-exaggerating because I have never seen any 100k Uppercuts.

 

He means that spell damage was fixed mainly because of mages using it, so why bugs that are letting warriors do well over 4 times the damage output of "bugged" mage are going ignored makes absolutely no sense. It makes the buffs/nerfs seem randomly chosen, singling out playstyles rather than simply declaring a bug a bug. This issue was known before, and mods told players that it was no use fretting over unfair duel mechanics. Yet, because this massive bug when unchecked, now it extends to pve and is easily exploited, with full confidence that the mods won't get angry.

Also, asssassin is a "sneaky class". Cool, you need to use the sneak key. -I wonder who said this

Clock boots (though not now, as the +2 are unobtainble), so now its any other melee boots

Coral Ring* (The main cause of this damage)
Jester Bracelet
Master/Jester Necklace

Alkatraz for duels, Apocalyse for pve (Pretty sure you could outright kill qira in a few attacks with this set on apoc)

*I may or may not have invented this set as a hypothetical way to abuse a bug that wasn't being taken seriously, only to have people who I told actually use it

Besides, I think you tried maining Mage after Assassin got changed and are just butthurt the classes you want to play don't work for how you want to play them. It's the end of the world. I also think left wing political ideals are great. I also think flame wars shouldn't be bannable, but hey. I think. This is all conjecture. Yes, I'm being offensive on purpose, but deal with it. Your insisting that every class is underpowered is just getting annoying. I'll link you to some content that will help you understand what's going on with you.

The point is this damage is obtainable because of the lack of balance in two weapons, and the failure to address a bug which could be solved in about 1 line of code.

Even without proof, if this damage is obtainable via a known bug, the question is not "where is the proof" but rather "why is this not fixed?"

 

I was actually going for a similar build, I guess I didn't know it could be so OP

 

What bug? Because abusing bugs is against the rules.
