    I just don't get it. Of course Wynn is going to get modernized. Didn't you all read this thread?: The Corkus Update. Look at the last item on the list: "It has been decided that the medieval theme is too boring for Wynncraft, and the game is being converted to a modern theme, set inside a city destroyed by the zombie apocalypse." It's about time, too. Medieval is so old. Get with the modern times.

    I was a huge fan of Runescape at the time, so I know what happened to it. The issue isn't necessarely that the game-world itself modernised, but (I believe) that they slowly forgot what made Runescape great to begin with. It became less and less like Runescape, and more like a generic MMORPG. Things like EoC and the wilderness shenanigans are good examples.

    But we have no plans to do something like that, so it should be fine.

    even Salted himself commented to you saying you're wrong, Wynn is not getting modernised. Also hearing gossips between players does not count as a valid source of information.

    I don't want the entirety of Wynncraft to be modernized, that would ruin the feel. But I feel like having one area that's all "tech-based" could actually be interesting. Sure, it would be tough to fit in the lore, but they already sort of did it with Rise of the Quartron and Heart of Llevigar. The builders and GMs could make some really cool builds, quests, and mobs using that theme that would be cool and wouldn't fit anywhere else in Wynn. Imagine a modernized dungeon with an electronic theme *cough* thunder dungeon *cough* that has stuff like pistons and gears and puzzles that wouldn't fit in a medieval theme. There could evem be some cool stuff in the lore about technology and magic clashing, or something. idk, I just think that a modern theme could show up somewhere without ruining Wynn, but the majority of it should stay Medieval.
