Void Rift (rp) - Intermission

He nods, pointing his tail towards where Rineth is.

 

"So, your master is with Rineth?" I ask.

 

He nods, then yawns.

 

"Hmm, alright then." I say, getting up.

I glance at Artemis; she lies asleep peacefully on the tree, breathing softly. I smile.

I decide to walk back over to Rineth.

"Hey, uh, Rineth. You know of anyone who might own a nature dragon around here?" I ask.

 

OCC: The post before was edited to include Xephyr. I kind of rushed it out because I needed to do something, sorry.

"I always am."

 

"And what action was that? What happened was a tactical retreat on my part."
I tap my robe with my gauntlet and it reforms over my healed body

"And as for 'doing me in,' I think that particular ship has sailed."

"...and sunk, and been lost, and found, and rebuilt, and so on."

 

My mind drifts at the thought of ships, specifically to Stephan13.

"Huh? Oh, yeah yeah. No doing you in. Heh heh." I say, distracted.

OOC: See what I did there? Stephanie x 13?

 

OOC: That was a TERRIBLE name.

 

"It would seem you found her pet." He whispers.
"Sgavrinn is an odd case. He's neither dead or alive; a cross between a figment of her imagination and a real dragon."

"You know where that place is?"

"This looks like it'll work. Do you at least know how to spread and flap your wings?"

 

OOC: All to distract you from the real joke.

"That's rather odd. I guess I understand why it'd want to be with Artemis, however." I say.

"Cute pet, though."

 

I think I see it and I think I want Ihra to axe you for it.

 

"Yes."

Avis jumps off Xephyr's shoulder and spreads her wings, nodding.

 

"Great. Do you know how many dragons that're going to be at my throat that are there?"

"Sounds like I'm going to go collect drelsh. Do you think I should approach from the skies or underground? I was made for mining..."

Xephyr hurriedly creates a snow pile for Avis to land in.
"If you don't know how to fly, be careful trying. We're still on rocks, girl. Wait until we get to grass, okay? It'll hurt less if you fall."

Stop offering Rineth a meal and reply to my actual response.
(*angrily yells at screen*)

 

"A lot. And uhm, I suppose going underground might be safer. The wyrms are a lot less dangerous than the dragons. Well, they aren't intelligent, atleast."

Avis hurries off to the plains.

 

*ahem*

Might want to sharpen your senses.

 

"Underground it is."

"Good luck in the... nursery? I don't know what you call it. If I'm not back soon... Well, I probably got lost.
...where's the exit?"

"Woah, honey! Slow down! Wait up, heheh!"
Xephyr runs after Avis.

OOC: There's only one of me, I'm constantly tired, and I could ring off excuses but we'd hit 5k if I did.
We're not even halfway through the story.

OOC: tbh I'm having tons of fun, even though it's usually 10pm for me when you get on. Always excited to continue the journey through the RP (literally, I wind up rushing whatever I'm doing to RP (I might have a problem)).


"That's just adorable," I say, "It's like a two-way thing with them."

I glance back over to Artemis, "I'm sure Artemis will enjoy him too." I say happily.

 

"Just don't get impatient with him. He can hum his name and hum notes. That's as close to speech as you'll get out of him."
