Void Rift (rp) - Intermission

I walk over to Riihs and Rineth, "Hey, uh, where's Ihra?" I ask innocently.

Considering the recent events, I de-summon Shadow Katana from my back.

"No idea; though she might just be trying to confuse you." I say, smiling.

 

"Eh, I'm fine with it."

 

Riihs' halberd has a yellow tinge on the edge of its blade. It crackles with electricity, occasionally arcing.
"Still asleep. Don't you dare touch her."

She's still propped up against Rineth.

 

"Ah, alright," I say, backing away slightly, "I'll uh, come back later."

I walk back into the thicker part of the forest, trying to get away from Riihs and Rineth as fast as I can.

"Well, that was awkward." Abigail says, dangling from a tree with her legs.

"It's going to be hard to make amends with these people; I messed up." I say, looking up.

"Just show you have good intentions. Small acts of kindness to show you're not hostile." Abigail advises.

A few forest spirits begin tugging on my shoulder, wanting me to see Artemis.

I walk over to the tree where Artemis lays asleep, noticing the green dragon in front of her.

"Hey, who are you little guy?" I ask, looking at the dragon curiously. Artemis shifts a little, yet remains sound asleep.

 

"Sgavrinn." It hums before turning to you.

It appears to be a nature dragon of sorts.

 

"If you don't have anything better to be doing, it would be appreciated."

Avis shakes her head.

 

"Hmm, what did that book say about these dragons?" I say to myself, thinking, "They breathe a mixture of water and magic, and can either help farmers or become powerful guardians of mother nature."

I turn to Sgavrinn, "What are you doing here then, Sgavrinn? Did Artemis' forest summon you to be its protector?" I ask kindly.

A few forest spirits inspect Sgavrinn, humming notes.

 

"Where is the mountain? I don't know how rough it is, but I suppose you've been told of my exploits..."

"Oh, honey... You have wings for a reason. Let's get to a place that isn't so rocky and I'll see if I can get you airborne."
She starts walking east, or towards any grassy area if there's one in view.

He shakes his head 'no,' but hums with the forest spirits.

 

"I'm not. You already have a shadow, 13, you don't need another."

I limp over to Aj.
"Would you mind putting aside our differences here for a moment? I happen to have a hole through my chest right now, courtesy of an odd glowing green figure (What happened to him anyway? Who was he?). Could you wake up Artemis? I'm guessing she'd be able to help."

 

The mage waves a hand and a map appears. "It's to the southeast, pretty far out." He points to the Cyntherna Mountains.

OCC: Where are we again? Sorry ;-;

 

OOC: Solignis. Xephyr just left, moving east.
(She has no idea what the terrain of Brisingr is)

"Will Reflet know where it is? If so, I should be fine. Otherwise, I'd like to hold onto it...

...oh. Uh... Do you have a knapsack or something? I can only carry so much."

 

"Hmm, are you here to see Artemis?" I ask.

The forest spirits seem to appreciate Sgavrinn.

A few forest spirits float over to you, observing your wound. They begin to hum together, almost in a chant. More forest spirits begin to join, until they form a circle around you. You feel your wound beginning to heal.

"I think the forest has you covered; I usually find it's best not to disturb Artemis, especially in situations like this." I say.

"The figure was Artemis' father; he considered you a threat and took action." I explain.

 

"Not a physical one."
I smile mischievously.

 

He shakes his head 'no' again.
You can tell that one flower in particular stands out; he gave Artemis a flower at some point.

 

"Reflet? The goddess? Ehm, I should hope she does. He mutters something and a knapsack appears.

Xephyr keeps moving to the east and eventually catches a glimpse of the Varden Plains.

 

"I can be as physical as you want." A voice whispers.

I glance at the flower curiously, "Did you come here to give Artemis a gift?" I ask. I sit down, crossing my legs.

 

"Thanks."

"Reflet... You hearing this?" I reach out teepathically.

He shakes his head 'no,' then hums the same melody he had earlier with the forest spirits.

 

I think for a moment.

"Do you have something to do with Artemis' forest, or its spirits?" I ask.

 

Same response as usual.

 

I think about this for a moment.

"Do you have a master?" I ask.
