Void Rift (rp) - Intermission

"I understand." I ponder for a few moments. "It has just occured to me that I feel exactly like Leo now."

 

"It's... an interesting turn. At least Avis is happy and she can go see the world, though." the mage responds.

The black dragon whines and walks over to Avis. They grin at Avis in a form of goodbye, then they turn and walk away. The red dragon smirks, looking happy for Avis to be leaving. The vine dragon extends a vine and waves with it. The shadow dragon lets out a long snore. The metal dragon hasn't processed a single thing from the beginning, still eating the drelsh. The light dragon nods in understanding.

 

Xephyr's tome lifts off the ground and levitates behind her.
"I suppose I should be careful of her homeland. Where is it in comparison to here?"

I kneel and start scratching the black dragon's back again.

 

"If you want, I can give you a physical form. You might want to be safe inside that cage, but it's your choice."

 

"Her homeland is mostly barren. Inhabited by barbarians and a few lucky towns. It's far down south, only accessible through the ocean or by a strip of land connecting it to Brisingr's southern most mountain pass."

The black dragon purrs, lying down.

 

"I'd rather be safe in the cage. Besides, I'm still using my current form, the flower, to collect information from the trio. I thought I was voided, but apparently AJ knows I'm still there."

 

"Interesting... and surprising. Then again, Artemis was the one who voided you. Maybe aj had a way of stopping the voiding from affecting him."

 

OCC: I've been hearing
Through this entire conversation. I suppose it makes sense because one of you is pretty much Flowey.

 

"Well, I might have to look... Usually when people say something's making their blood boil, it's a figure of speech. This place isn't for me, but I'll try to bring her back to visit every now and then."

She tries to put Avis on her shoulder.
"Good luck out there. Don't let Ihra get too fond of it."
"I don't think that's possible."
We both laugh a bit.

 

Avis turns into a hawk and latches on perfectly with her talons.

"Well, goodbye Avis." The mage gives a short wave.

 

Xephyr looks for the exit, but then opts to warp out.

Once on the ground, Xephyr looks at Avis.
"Avis, right? I'm sorry, but could you keep in dragon form? I'm getting a bit old, shapeshifting is tough for me to wrap my head around."

She offers Avis another ice crystal.

"Well, that happened." I mutter, still scratching the black dragon. (Or trying to)

 

Avis reverts back into a dragon, frowning. Though, she eats the ice and instantly her frown fades.

 

"Again, sorry girl. Here, let's see if this helps."
The air around Avis and Xephyr is near freezing.
"Nobody was going to let you see the world, but I have a feeling you were just scared. I'll show you that though you have to be careful, you don't need to hide in a tower."

 

Avis nods and purrs

"Yeah..." The mage trails off before changing the subject. "So, what do you plan on doing now?"

The dragon acknowledges you, still purring.

 

"Well, he is a shadow."

 

"Yes, shadows are very mysterious... I remember that."

 

"So Uhm, where are we headed to?

 

You hear a sudden roar as a monster drops vertically and lands next to him.
"We're going to give them a surprise when they see a Pure Drakonshade again, especially since it's the same one they tracked down and killed earlier."
The monster resembles a golden dragon. A faint, eerie glow is emanating from it.

 

"lovely."

 

"Let's get going then."
I climb onto the Drakonshade.
"Last time they were heading Brisingr. That should be... about north-west of here. maybe north-north-west."
