Mythic Hunting

So ever since gavel came out i've just been doing casual but lately i've actually had a goal, getting a mythic and I wanted to try and get one by drop, however I don't exactly how to get an exact mythic or what places specific mythics drop most. Right now i'm going for an Az, where would the best place be for that? My first guess is from lvl 74 mobs but I haven't really found a mob that level that spawns most or what my best bet would be.

Note to self: Nice going making your goal basically 99.9% luck.

 

Yes, level 74 mobs would be best. The only place I know they might be at is the Tower of Ascension.
You should also, while looking for mythics, have high loot bonus. With good loot bonus gear, it is actually possible to get 200%+ loot bonus, but you have to find some really good gear. Just go to the trade market and try to buy the best stuff you can find for your level.
Let's think about this. 1 in 140,000 chance. So if you do get that good loot bonus chance, the chance is increased to around 1 in 45,000. Still looks like a big chance? Well, there isn't really anything else which can increase your chances. And btw, yes, mobs in ToA do drop items. I actually got two legendary items just by running through and trying to get as far as possible as quickly as possible. So it is definitely possible to get a mythic there.
No, loot bombs don't increase your chances. What they actually do is give you double loot. So basically, if you actually got a mythic, you would get 2 instead of 1. So if you can afford enough loot bombs to last you until you find a mythic, then that's good, because you get 2 mythics instead of 1.
Even if you find a mythic other than Az, you can just sell that mythic and then buy an Az from someone.

 

ahh I guess u grind a mythic that the luck is to breed a white horse(maybe but not impossible) .-.

 

I got 2 mythics in 3 days ( farmed like 2 hours per day) with 40% loot bonus only... I was leveling up, not farming really :p loot bonus matters, but luck does too xd but yeah it was high lvl, I don't know about lower level best place to farm, I believe you could find Pure on Dead Island, its really good spot to lvl up also, maybe Az would drop there too, mobs r lvl 69-70 i think.

 

One does not just simply get a mythic.

ToA is terrible for drops. I went there with 150% loot bonus looking for a stupid Jera and Illuminite... after 30 minutes, all i got were a pile of shards and a bunch of common items. I did this at the higher levels (around 70-80) and same thing happened. For Az, I'd recommend ToL, as I've witnessed someone get an Az there. It is in the same level range as Archangel too.

 

I got 2 mythics in 3 days aswell, an insanely good Stratiformis worth about 10 stacks of LE and a bad Alkatraz, to get a higher drop rate of mythics, since most are around level 95, kill mobs around level 95 to get a higher than normal drop rate.

 

Strange, because I've gotten more lucky with ToA with legendaries (and being on my own, spawn rates increase if there are people with you. Got 4 legendaries in an hour thanks to be being near someone once) than anywhere else.
And yes, as said above, spawn rates are increased by other people being near you. So another way to help you get mythics is basically bring one person with you and then grind together. More mobs spawn than you can both handle, you get the mythic if you are lucky.

 

I guess it's just my personal experience. It might be the same drop rate for all mobs and that I just got unlucky in that 1-2 hours.

Wtf ive never had a mythic in my life...and i grinded on more than 50% loot bonus for about 10 hours in total at level 93 mobs

 

First off necro, second I've grinder 6 hours straight with 198% loot bonus for 5 days and haven't gotten one

 

I saw you on Hypixel Skyclash... we where in a party for team war

 

the best place for pure is the herb cave

Got like 10-15 legends
