Void Rift (rp) - Intermission

The snowy dragon frowns and reverts into a parrot.

"Yet." Then she reverts back into a dragon

 

"I see. I dont mean to be a nuiscance, but are you holding anything against Aj, Artemis, and Abigail?"

 

Xephyr forms an ice crystal in her hand, then lays it in front of the snowy dragon.
"Shapeshifting? Clever girl!"
Xephyr smiles gently, causing a slightly larger temperature drop around the dragon.

"I'm finding it hard to believe she's an orphan... Is this her homeland?"

 

Idala's daggers change back into her sickle, which she attaches to a belt.

"I hold everything against Eras and those he protects. If anyone should help them, they will also be destroyed. That now includes all three of them, as they tried to protect Idala. So yes, I do."

 

"Alright. I have a serious bone to pick with the three of them. I'll tell you, I already have a semi-plan to beat them."

 

"What do you have in mind so far?"

 

The dragon eats the crystal, purring happily.

"She's from Aurorius, actually. It's a frigid kingdom down south." The mage answers

 

"Have you considered she may be uncomfortable here? It's awfully warm for an ice dragon... I mean, I feel like I'm in a sauna, but I don't want to freeze my surroundings."

Xephyr tries to scratch the snowy dragon's back.

 

"Abigail appears to be the weakest. Torture her using water in front of her friends ought to put her in place. Aj appears to be a very large threat, as he has some kind of potion that makes him grow in size and power. I believe if he runs out, he'll be vulnerable. That means a prolonged campaign against him. Artemis is the biggest threat. We have to find a way to prevant her father from intervening. If thats sucessful, we trick her into becoming Death. Then, we destroy her crystal necklace, and she'll be out of control and most likely kill anyone she sees. Included are her friends."

 

The mage frowns. "She's probably uncomfortable yes. Better uncomfortable then dead, though. I don't know how long she'd last down there before someone picks her off."

The dragon lets her, grinning. The dragon's teeth are made of ice.

 

Xephyr blows a small stream of cold air at its face.
"Is the land really that much worse than here? If it is..."
"You can't be about to say what I think you are.
"I think I am.

Is there something I could do to bring her with me? If she causes as much trouble as Vesius says, you must be growing tired of her..."
"Don't try to play into their emotions. They've got a tough job as it is."

 

"Interesting ideas... but we have several problems. The main problem is that they will be working together. If they have all those powers working together, then there isn't much which can harm them..."
They take out their sword-mace and spin it round rapidly.
"... but there are ways to kill them. I'm uncertain how they all died- I mean, are going to die. But if we wait a while, who knows who else might die? They turned on you, they turned on Luphyx. Who knows who they will turn on next? Maybe a draconian next time. That would give them some large problems..."

 

"It really isn't that much worse. Her species is just well sought after. At least in this tower, she's safe. I'm not really certain if she'd be any better staying with you, but if her discomfort is that concerning, you can..."

 

"I'll let her decide..."

Xephyr kneels in front of the snowy dragon, claws on the ground with the evident intention of picking up the dragon.

 

The dragon practically jumps into Xephyr's arms.

"Well, she won't let go now. It's for the best, I guess. Just keep her safe."

 

"I heard AJ getting worried that he might kill Ihra. Also, during my last battle with them, I neutralized Abigail from joining when I made it rain in water."

 

"I may have failed once, but I know where I made my mistakes. As I vowed to my former Mistress long ago, I will do everything I can to keep her safe."
Xephyr gently hugs her.
"One question, though - does she have a name?"

 

The dragon purrs softly. The mage smiles.

"Her name is Avis."

OCC: I looked up the name meaning for that and realized it was perfect...

 

"Avis, huh? That's a nice name, sweetheart!"
She scratches Avis' back. I smile.
"I didn't expect that to happen." I mutter to the mage telepathically.
She looks at all the other dragons.
"You seem to be doing a fine job here... Thank you for letting me take one off your hands."

 

"This could happen. However, there are too many of them. It would pointless for them to destroy me, but at the same time it would be pointless for me to attempt it. Still, I do have plans..."
You notice him cast a spell.
"Let's see what happens when they realise the amount of control I have over some of the monsters in the Darklands..."
