Void Rift (rp) - Intermission

"Yes, that is a Wind Dragon. Don't worry, it's only a Wind Dragon created by magic inside a stone figure of it. Which means that it can't harm anyone even if it wanted to."

Idala's aura becomes more powerful and she spins round in a circle, making a dark whirlwind.

 

I catch the whirlwind, trying my best to control myself as I spin round it. I keep an eye on Idala, waiting for my moment to strike.

 

The dragon tries to mimic the humming.

"Sgavrinn? Did you find her?"
More humming.
"Okay, sorry."

"Oh... okay. Do all the figures do that?"

 

Artemis twitches a little, yet remains asleep. A few of the forest spirits float away from Artemis, looking around and behind the trees curiously.

The forest spirits around the dragon hum a soothing melody together.

 

The dark aura around the gauntlet continues to expand, shrouding Ihra in darkness. If Rineth is nearby, his lifeforce too will slowly start to leach away, and energy within Ihra's staff seems to be draining into the gauntlet.

OOC: Hey darkness users: giant aura of darkness around Ihra. Yeah. Notice me senpai.

 

Idala blasts the whirlwind apart, sending you flying backwards.

"The monster ones turn into the monsters they resemble."

Eras immediately turns towards the dark aura around Ihra.
"Ihra!"
I hover into the air and try to absorb the darkness.

 

I throw Shadow Katana at Idala as I fly backwards, it spins alarmingly fast towards her.

I try my best to align myself before landing; I manage to land on my feet, skidding a little across the ground, yet keeping my balance. I look up at Idala with a determined expression, before getting distracted and turning to Ihra.

I stop battling with Idala, instead turning to Ihra. Shadow Katana returns to it's sheath as I un-possess the figurine and run toward Ihra.

 

The red dragon attempts to dodge your tail, poking you back. The snow dragon stares at you for a while, unblinking, before turning itself into a perfect copy of you. The black dragon just sits quietly to the side.

"We usually get more sent to us if we run out. It's rather expensive, but I think we'll be fine. And... How old are you, exactly? If you don't mind me asking."

 

Absorbing the darkness only seems to make it grow, until...

A bright flash of light, and I'm standing in front of Ihra, the same way I was before I had disappeared. With a hole in my chest.
I fall to one knee, grimacing, and leaning heavily on my poleaxe.

"Probably should have braced for this, huh?" I say to myself.

I look sickly and pale, and my breathing is shallow.

 

"Revert that thing before it screams. My breathweapon isn't fire; it's a shockwave. It'll take out the whole tower."

After hurriedly getting that out...
"As for my age, I can't say I know the exact year. I think I'm a century or two into my fourteenth millennia."
I continue poking the red dragon gently, then lean over to let the black dragon smell (or bite) my claw, if it so chooses.

"What about the human ones? - Wh..."

The staff crystal seems to be providing a minor healing spell on its own, even though Ihra's still out like a light.

OOC: Had to, sorry.

 

I limp over to Ihra and pick up my gauntlet. I look up at Ihra. "Sorry 'bout that one. Much more difficult to do anything at all without someone wearing this thing."
I slip it onto my open left hand, and suddenly seem much more stable. I stretch my arms a bit and yawn.

"So how long was I out?"

 

Rineth props Ihra up against himself.
"Well, you were out for more than one big argument, so I'd say a day or two... at least."

 

"This place looks relatively nice. One could probably take a vacation here. Unless there are still armies and monsters here."

I remain silent, still listening and watching,

OOC: Though, it still piques my curiousity why Artemis's Father didn't appear the moment I attacked Abigail as Count Drake. That was sort of a point of no return.

You hear a small voice.
"Howdy, I'm a flower"

 

I grin through the pain.
"Seems even the losers won. How about that." I mutter under my breath, before teleporting directly behind Aj, standing back-to-back, my arms folded.

"You deserve worse than this." I say vehemently, before stabbing him through the hand (right, if it matters) with my dagger (of light, same as before), and pulling it out.
"I'd call you a monster, but even monsters can be tamed."

OOC: T'was a bleak, silent night, and all were in bed. All but two participants, one who'd just been dead.

 

The Vesius clone tilts it's head "No." It says.

The mage mutters something and the dragon reverts back to normal. The dragon then proceeds to change into the mage. They try to speak before being revert back to a dragon again. The dragon lets out a human sigh.

"Sorry about that. Those dragons can be pretty devious at times." A look of slight shock crosses the mage's face at your next words, "...That's pretty ancient. Most of our dragons will get so massive by that time that they have to enter a long hibernation if they want to sustain their energy."

The black dragon does both, sniffing and then proceeding to gnaw on your claw.

 

OOC: I'm here, too.

"You're dead, soon."
I mumble.

 

The both of you hear a voice, sounding slightly pissed. "Howdy, I'm a flower! Alright let's get to the point. One of you tell Artemis to release Leo because he did nothing wrong."

 

I ignore it, like nothing ever happened.

 

"I'm pretty sure Artemis wouldn't void you."I cast a spell, and several earthen spikes surround you.

 

"It is very much by perspective. I'm very young for my kind, yet I know I'm older than most creatures ever were."
I let the black dragon proceed, seeing as it doesn't hurt.

I gently scratch its back between its wings (or where they'll be if they've yet to grow) with my other claw.
"Ihra, who I don't know if you've heard of, is half my age. Her caretaker, however, were he still alive, would've been a quarter of a million years old, by your calendar and give or take a few millennia."

I look at the mischievous dragon.
"This little bugger seems to be quite the handful."
