Hegularst Castle and Theory SURVIVOR Data File Part 3

This is your ONLY WARNING. The Leader's Bedroom
Above the Bloody Library lies the bedroom, presumably where the leaders/owners of this castle lived.
It seems like they merely waited for the end to come.
A colored glass window lies to the right of the bed.
Meanwhile, the left shows a beautiful picture of the landscape, likely made in happier times.
Only 2 bodies lie in this room, the presumed leaders of the castle.
The Passage to the Final Floor
By going north from the decorated room, you can access these small hallways.
They lead to a staircase to the final floor of the castle.
No chests here can be opened.
In addition, no bodies have been found.
Despite this, there is still blood here, possibly from the killer of all these people, dripping off their blade with a shade of crimson red.

The Final Floor
This is the final floor of the castle, upon entering, it is clear much blood was lost here, seeing as it covers the floor like a river.
At the end of the hall, a giant headstone lies behind a Loot 3 chest.
But there is a hole in the side of this room.
Within the hole, a area covered in blood can be found, but no bodies are on this floor.
This goes into my theory.
Theory SURVIVOR
I believe that people survived this horrific massacre of innocents!
It is highly unlikely that everyone was murdered in this castle, due to bodies missing where they would presumed to be.
I feel like they survived, and perhaps their culture survived with them.
I hold onto my Hopes, because i know one thing about such acts.
They NEVER truly succeed, they may kill some, not all.
Regardless, i have named this castle Hegularst because of one reason and one reason only.
Hegularst=Slaughter
The term Hegularst is a anagram for slaughter.
I state this for every slaughter of the innocent, morally and without compromise.
You will never truly succeed in wiping a culture out, all you do is make those that stand against you more determined to stop you.
That is what truly shows hope is stronger than despair.
Never forget that.

Hope trumps despair...sounds like something from Danganronpa.
I find it interesting that such a place is on the edges of sky islands.

 

I'm awful curious on what Sky Islands will offer lore-wise in general.

So what you're saying is whoever or whatever did this couldn't do the job right? You think that they left survivors? They must've gotten lazy and forgot about it. Shame on them.

 

That is the main issue with every slaughter done in history.
Even planning ahead cannot guarantee a perfect success.
It is likely that some stayed behind long enough for others to escape.
But there is just not enough evidence to figure the exact events that occurred.

I believe so.
It could have been a group as well, but due to the blood dripping from one room to the next, that is my guess.
Like i said, i cant say for sure.
History does not always leave clear clues.

I cried about what you said at the bottom... there goes my policy: Men only cry when they're being chased by coyotes.

 

When you exit the castle go down and turn left, there is a giant cave filed with bones, a skull and a dead warrior.
To the right there is a half broken tent with a funny sign.

 

I did consider that the creature may have been responsible, but there is no way it was able to enter the castle itself.
Good point however.
