"She shouh ee iine here"

 

"Are you sure? It seems kind of...weird." I say, giving Rineth a confused look.

 

You arrive at the door to the house. It's more a hut than anything, kind of sad looking compared to the castle/volcano looming overhead.

 

He realizes telepathy is a better way to communicate.
"They have to literally get through me to get her. Plus, again, what is weird to you is normalish to us."

I knock.

 

"It's just...recent events with Abigail and all that, I can't help but feel a little concerned for her safety; Artemis is also sort of freaking out we left her up here." I think.

"Is Ihra safe!? Please tell me she's alright! And also I'm sorry for leaving her!" You overhear Artemis say through telepathy.

"See?"

 

OCC: I guess I'm speaking for the healer then? O.o

The healer answers after a short delay. "Yes? Oh. You're... alive. How... suprising." They seem relieved, but confused.

 

"She's fine. She's currently stowed away in my mouth. Worse comes to worst, I warp away with her."

"Ihra brought me back from the light. I wanted to apologize for having Reflet get up at your throat. Thing is, I could hear your conversation. I just couldn't do anything. So, sorry to put you through that, and thanks for trying to save me."

 

"That's...really weird..." Artemis says through telepathy, directly to Rineth this time.

I smile at Rineth.

 

They sigh. "I should be the one apologizing. I need to work on my healing skills. Still, thanks for your consideration."

 

"There's not many faster ways to evacuate children from hordes of creatures with blood on their minds. Again, what is normal to us may not be such for you."

"You did all you know how. I'm new to this world, yet you still applied what you knew, even if what works here wouldn't work for me. For that I thank you."

 

"I think Aj's teleportation powers are probably a better option, consider it doesn't involve eating people..." Artemis says flatly.

"Wide culture gap eh?" I say.

 

"I'm not eating her. She could walk around the space behind my teeth."

 

"I know, but the fact you're storing her in your mouth...it's just..." Artemis seems lost for words.

"It must be really awkward if you have a bunch of people in your mouth that you're saving, but you want to eat something." I say.

 

"I rarely eat. Also, Ihra's acid spit would have to go somewhere. Also, I'm a bit dead and eating is for enjoyment, if even that."

 

"I guess if you're woven from magic you wouldn't need to eat; but it's still really weird to me..." Artemis says.

"So I'm guessing Ihra's not going anywhere?" I say.

 

"... You're welcome."

 

"Only if she wakes up or I phase."

"Look, I get everyone has their role. If you mess up, or feel you messed up, that just means you're doing your job and you know it well enough to tell that something's off. I wish you luck with your job."

 

"Alright, you have Ihra's safety covered; what shall we do about this homicidal robot?" I say, looking at the robot.

 

"I don't know. You're the supposed homicidal demon... don't you know what appropriate reactions are?"

 

"Homicidal is a mass understatement," I mutter, "But I'm guessing we should probably crush it, then destroy whatever powers it. Something about it seems sort of...off, though."
