    So I have 2 chests from before the Gavel update that literally just have the Def and Level Min. Can I get rid of these or at least get them updated? The 2 are Dragon Skin, and Montefiore.

    They won't get updated. Just throw them away.

    Did they definitely say they aren't updating them? Because I had a Drale's hide saved that hadn't updated, but then with a recent update, it did get updated to the new system. Idk if they specifically said those weren't updating, though?

    Pretty sure it's just vanilla?
    Rules:
    9. No vanilla items.
    (This includes abusing glitches to obtain and selling/buying them, just throw them out. Vanilla items are normal Minecraft items that are usually obtained through glitches.)

    they aren't vanilla they are just pre gavel items

    also you are allowed to keep those items (I guess they will get updated sometime)
    ________________________________
    according to the previous rules you were allowed to own vanilla items that don't involve a glitch in the obtaining process (old emeralds, eb, le, bottle, bucket, water bucket, fish). those are the 7 items I'm aware of.

    As stated above, throw them both out immediately, you may be banned for owning them and I am sure a mod would give you the same advice, throw them into lava or the detlas/cinfras trash cans and never look back, they most likely will not be updated. Do it and take no risks in getting banned.

    Only vanilla items are illegal. We used no glitches to get these, we just had them, and on the Gavel Update, they appeared in our inventory unupdated. It's not our fault they weren't updated.
