Void Rift (rp) - Intermission

"How well can you dig, anyways?"
I say to Rineth.
"First thing that comes to mind when you think 'dragon' isn't exactly 'super-drill'."

 

Artemis shrugs.

The lava pool begins to bubble, before turning ice-blue. Artemis and I take that as our cue and jump in, the pool taking control and dragging us down.


After travelling through tunnels of magma for a short while, Artemis and I emerge in a cave; a river of magma flowing through.

Abigail holds her claws ready, "It's just you two?" She asks, eyeing us sceptically. "Probably, I don't know." I say with a laid-back tone.

Abigail retracts her claws, relaxing a little. Various crystals shimmer in the light of the magma river, orange and red light reflecting from them.

"He wasn't trying to kill you, he just wanted you to apologise." Artemis says.

"How do you know that? How do you know he doesn't have it out for me? I'm a Flame Guardian, and even the slightest spark could burn Ihra to ashes; it goes without reason I'd be considered a threat."

"I don't think Rineth's that instictual; you're a person, not an object. But most importantly, you're a woman, who is also an object."

Artemis and Abigail both glare at me, "Kidding! Just kidding!" I say somewhat nervously.

"Rineth isn't going to kill you without good reason, you just sort of...struck a nerve." Artemis says calmly.

"I guess...but, he didn't seem 'A little annoyed' in the struck a nerve sense, more 'You're dead in the next 10 seconds' struck a nerve sense." Abigail says, trying to calm her nerves.

"I wonder what the others think we're doing down here..." I ponder.

"Because they're so stupid they forgot I'm down here and you're trying to make me apologise, Aj." Abigail says.

 

"I'm still grateful you didn't kill me with the Watchers, you know."
I dive into the ground, trying to save a little time.

"Voidwalkers aren't meant to dig. I'd tear the rocks to powder, but I wouldn't get far."

"Who's stupid?"
Ihra asks, poking her head out from behind Artemis.
"Rineth doesn't think you'll kill me. He just thinks you hate him."

 

Abgail falls back, extending her claws in shock, before retracting them, noticing it's Ihra.

"You said it was just you two!" Abigail hisses at me.

"No, I said it was probably just us." I say casually.

"I can say for sure Rineth isn't exactly in my good books; I caught him watching me whilst I was bathing with Aj and Artemis," Abigail says to Ihra, "Rather perverse."

Abigail looks around the cave, checking its walls.

"Because you're fine with us seeing you nude but oh hey, big, old dragon watches you- actually, now I think about it that does sound rather perverse." I say.

"Exactly. You're my close friends, it's like going to a sauna or something, so I'm completely fine with it. Rineth was, and still is, a stranger to me. It's weird." Abigail says.

 

"Judging from your voice, you seem fine enough. Though, I want you to keep up the act that I'm Count Drake, blah blah blah, even if my acquaintances are onto us. Break the act only when I tell you to." I double check everything.

OOC: Can Riihs's True Sight see souls? Because that might be a problem.

 

"I'm aware. I can read minds. You might as well forget about it."

 

"Would you rather he intruded or Nyre intrude? Those were the options."

*Insert classic "are we there yet" here*

 

"I think you'd like it if Nyre intruded on you." I say to Abigail, grinning.

Abigail glares at me, I try to hold back my laughter.

"It's still weird," Abigail says, "At least with Nyre I'd have some justification for disliking him."

I giggle to myself. Artemis can't help but smile a little too.

"Har har har, laugh it up you two. Why don't you ship us together already? Abygael, Nyre x Abigail." Abigail says, annoyed.

"I'd rather not be intruded by anyone." Abigail says to Ihra.

 

"Well, I've only seen you mess around or die, so feel free to stay away from us if you don't want to. Also, mother says you shouldn't use that clock, AJ. She says she won't save you a second time."
Ihra's staff crystal flashes twice.
"I'm going back with Rineth. I know you don't like him, but again, Rineth or bolts. Pick your introduction."
She vanishes.

 

"Yes, it's right ahead."

 

I grab some clothes from my bags, and quickly change into them. "Alright, do I look rich enough?"

 

I surface and look around for guards. Or anyone.

"Uh... Not exactly."

 

I look at myself, curious. "Alright, suggestions? I plan on having you as my necklace to 'flaunt my wealth'. Of course, if you don't want that I can keep you in a pocket." I pull out something that resembles a cape and check it over.

 

As you look through your bag, you see the gauntlet you had tossed haphazardly in. Your vision focuses in on it, and it seems to draw you closer... you feel your hands moving to hold it, although you never consciously told them to... closer....

 

A golden blur streaks down from the sky, letting out a roar. The blur flashes away before reappearing again, as Yhrey.

 

"AGHHH" I shout out, before quickly kicking the bag away from me. "I thought I gave that to Ihra. Maybe I was hallucinating again." I back away from it.

 

"Hey, could you maybe act as a translator? It's fine if you don't want to, but..."
I trail off.

"That looks a bit better. Don't play yourself up too much, they're expecting Sir Robert..."

 

"Which is why I'm bringing the body along. Besides, I told them I need lots of time to do the spell, which I obviously faked. Well actually I didn't. I was expecting you to be pretty scared, but seeing that you weren't scared, that kinda cut down the time needed." I grab the bag with the gauntlet and put the bag on. I place the cape over my shoulders, and grab a hat decorated with gold and gems. "This thing I looted two years ago should finish the look." I place it over my head, and then tie a string around the crystal and place it over my neck. "Well, do you think I look rich enough?"

OOC: After I get to the group, can I be the one that controls Leo? Cause there may be some moments where I want him to speak but you're offline.

 

OOC: Go ahead.
