If I know where it is and how to do it am i allowed to invite friends to do it with me and tell them what to do???

Hey, I once did this quest with my mage but forgot how it works xD, am I allowed to Join a group to find out again how it works?

 

What if somebody stumbles across the starting point and invites friends to come do it with them before starting on it?

My friend did it, then he followed a group around, and they "stumbled" across it.
(Tbh, he probs told them)
