The problem with that is then you'd be exposing your build, and we want to hide this as much as possible so it won't get nerfed.

 

You'd be showing your build if you open your inventory or if you look at your stats. Other than that, just showing how much a simple spell does shouldn't expose a build.

 

Well, people could see your weapon, your dmg, like people could see if its fire/earth/thunder/water/air.
