10/10 Damage Calculation.

Is anyone not getting any neutral damage with spells and getting random boosts to other elements with no dex?




... or is it only me ;-;

 

each spells have specific elemental bonuses as well
such as Meteor of Mages is a Fire and Earth Spell, even if you use a neutral weapon the spell will also do damage with these two element

 

I think he's trying to say that he doesn't get any neutral damage at all when casting spells, even if the weapon does neutral damage. I've been experiencing the same problem.

If I, for example, cast meteor with Lunar Spine (deals neutral and water base damage), my meteor will deal water, earth, and fire damage, but no neutral. If I cast the same spell with my Bob's Mythic (only has neutral base damage), it will deal fire, earth and neutral. So what's up with that?

 

So I did a few tests... And guess what? Your neutral damage is almost completely based off of your spell damage. So if you have a weapon with 2 damage, and a weapons with 200 neutral weapon damage. You'll do the same damage depending on your spell damage. Also it seems as though critical hits only slightly increase your neutral damage. You know what this means? Spell damage elemental weapon builds are going to be taking over the world. Everyone buy an alkatraz!!!

 

umm, you realize that arrow storm with a high spell damage build will shred everything... pretty sure it isn't intentional. plz fix
