Why Does The Wynncraft Map Point North?

I never understood why they made the map progressed to the west instead of the north. By this I mean that the higher lvl you are, the more west you go instead of the more north you go. The same applies for Gavel.

Why is it like this?

 

that's allright with me, the thing that bothers me is that nesaak isn't to the north.

 

You're thinking of eastwards. I wasn't there for the ancient days but I imagine they just started building without really keeping the direction in mind, so Ragni was facing east, and so the map was sort of designed based around where Ragni was facing.

 

Because the first thing they built pointed East to West(Old Wynn bridge that connected the Nivla forest to Detlas.)

It's not like the direction it's facing actually matters that much.

Command blocks will be screwed up and you will crash the server, when the server restarts, it may have deleted some blocks both not others; you will be lucky if a rollback happens.
