Void Rift (rp) - Intermission

I yell at Artemis "NEVER!" I then run towards Luphyx. I look at Artemis. "Agh, I was too late to block the attack. Maybe in another timeline I would've blocked it and broken my arms..."

OOC: Foreshadowing what I was gonna post, but Aj beat me to it.

 

"...no...."

I fall to the ground, unconscious, and my poleaxe de-manifests.

 

A sapling erupts from your back, spilling blood. Your skin starts to turn into wood. Flowers begin to grow around you.

A short distance away, Artemis hugs the green transparent figure. Tears stream down her face; the figure tries to calm her.

 

I look at Artemis and the green figure with a disgusted face. "What have the both of you done?"

I kneel down to Luphyx and pull out a canteen of water. I pour it over Luphyx, not expecting much.

 

A translucent projection of me appears. The projection also has a hole through its chest. It motions to me and to Rob, attempting to communicate.

 

I stop pouring the water and put the canteen back into my bag. I walk closer to the projection. "Yes?"

 

Artemis and the figure ignore you.

Abigail walks over, and the green figure turns to greet her. Artemis is still tearful.

The figure raises his hand, and in a green flash, I'm standing next to her. Abigail rubs her head.

Our voices cannot be heard, however the green figure gestures towards Rob and Luphyx. I nod, then shake my head.

 

I look at the three of them curiously, before drawing my sword and pulling out my crossbow, cocking it. "Yes?" I ask the three of them.

 

It gestures to my gauntleted left hand, and then to Rob and then to itself. You notice the projection is not wearing the gauntlet.

 

The green figure glares at you, before disappearing with Abigail, Artemis and I.

We reappear a short distance away; yet out of earshot.

The green figure gestures to Artemis, and I nod. The green figure puts his hand on my shoulder and nods, smiling. Artemis seems to have cheered up a little.

 

I look curiously, and ponder for a couple of seconds, before putting away my sword. I walk over back to the body and attempt to detach the gauntlet from it. My crossbow is still prepared to fire, however.

I look at them as I attempt to detach the gauntlet, and for a moment I stop and take aim at them, before shaking my head and putting my crossbow down.

 

The green figure raises his hand, not even looking. Wood begins to sprout around your crossbow, disabling it, before snapping it in half like a toothpick.

The green figure gestures to Rob, this time looking at Abigail. Abigail nods.

 

The gauntlet feels heavier than common sense would dictate. It now seems more plausible that I never raise my gauntlet. As it is removed from my body, my body seems to fade slightly, as if it were no longer solid.

 

I haphazardly attempt to give it to the translucent projection, before realizing my crossbow was just destroyed. I then place the gauntlet on the ground, keeping myself as calm as possible.

I turn to the trio. My eye twitches, and I draw my sword. I yell out, "YOU DID NOT JUST DO THAT. YOU DID NOT JUST DO THAT. YOU DID NOT JUST DO THAT." My voice immediately changes. It looks as if I'm choking on my own anger, desperately attempting to hold back myself from going on a genocidal rampage.

OOC: The voice is the Bill Cipher one.

 

As you hold the gauntlet, you feel oddly tempted to try it on. The temptation fades slightly as you put it down, but it's still there.


The projection stands guard over the gauntlet.

 

The green figure snaps his fingers; you find yourself completely unable to move, yet you stay upright.

A pair of vine hands pick up the crossbow's remains and drags them underground. They emerge next to Abigail, and the green figure nods to her.

Abigail burns the crossbow's remains.

The green figure gestures to Luphyx and Rob, looking at Artemis. Artemis nods, before hugging the green figure again.

 

If I wasn't furious before, I am now. "AGHHHHHHHH" I yell, still with the voice. "YOU WILL ALL DIE FOOLS" It seems as if I've gone past a point of no return. I steal an ability from any of them, I do not care which one, however, I make sure to avoid Aj, remembering his warnings.

OOC: You may or may not just triggered my character to be an antagonist.

I completely ignore the projection, and focus on attempting to break free from my bound.

 

The projection appears next to Abigail. It draws words in the air with its hands. It doesn't seem capable of speech.
"I...f... t...h...e...r...e... i...s... o...n...e... t...h...i...n...g... I... h...a...v...e... l...e...a...r...n...e...d... a...f...t...e...r... a...l...l... m...y... y...e...a...r...s..."

 

You fail to steal an ability; something strong blocks you.


The green figure raises his hand to you.

You feel yourself being drained; your energy, your magic..your soul.

Your body begins to wither away.

A green aura surrounds you, you don't seem to be able to leave its presence.

The green figure lets you talk, though glares at you.

 

The projection is incapable of speech. It doesn't have vocal cords.
"D...o...n...t... m...a...k...e... t...h...e...
m...a...d... o...n...e... m...a...d..."
