Void Rift (rp) - Intermission

"EN GARDE" I shout, charging forwards with my sword, but changing its positioning so that I won't stab Abigail. As I'm doing this, I say to Abigail, "You know, I always did wonder why people never used their strongest attacks first."

"LYPHUS!" I yell. "Get Aj and Abigail to defuse from each other. Unless the both of them are defused, they will essentially regenerate wounds."

 

The wound opens up again.

Abigail switches the crystal in her right gauntlet into a silver, metallic one. A small scope appears as she holds it up to her eyes.

"Hey, wanna play catch the knife?" She says, as a bullet forms and fires toward Luphyx, "Man, I suck at this."

"You know, if you keep trying to attack me, you're gonna have a bad time." Abigail says, tripping you up.

 

"You know," I say while recovering and attempting for a slash at her face, "I'd like to tell you something witty, but I'll tell you only this: Welcome to my special hell" I then kick Abigail, still attempting for a slash.

OOC: That's a quote from Lemon Bread, btw

 

Abigail starts generating a stage 1 happiness froth from the references, "Don't make me use my Special Attack!" She warns.

 

The bullet disappears almost instantly.
"Interesting piece of equipment you got there. Would be a shame if I broke it."

A dozen or so glowing needles appear in a sphere around the gauntlet and all at once stab into it, severing its internal workings. I seem quite drained from such delicate work, however.

 

The drained silver crystal takes the brunt of the force, shattering.

A dark aura appears below Abigail's feet, and a skateboard appears.

"Wanna go skateboards?" She says, hopping on the skateboard.

 

"Ah, but I will use mine first!" I then bring my sword up, jump high into the air, and then land on the ground, doing nothing. "That's right, it's nothing." I grin.

I whisper to Luphyx, "Keep trying to find a way to subdue Abigail. I'm doing my best to keep her attacks concentrated on me."

I smile at Abigail. "Skateboardssssss"

OOC: What has happened? This turned from a standoff, to a weird hallucination thingy or whatever, and now we're throwing references at each other while still trying to battle. This is a level of petty I thought I'd never reach.

 

I swing my trusty poleaxe, cleaving the skateboard in half

OOC: I could almost swear that was a soul eater reference

 

Abigail hops on the skateboard and ollies out.

"You can't tell me what to do!" She shouts.

OOC: This is what happens when the internet RPs.

The skateboard explodes.

"Apples!" Abigail says as she lands on the floor.

 

"Time to end this."

I draw my poleaxe back, readying for a swing. As I do so, the air around me starts to waver, as does the poleaxe.

 

"Oh no you don't!" I run towards Abigail, and slash my sword at her legs. "Hahah, I just remembered something from a story I read. The protagonist was going through an essay test by some robot, and the robot asked for what they liked most about it. The protagonist then wrote down 'Legs so hot they could fry an egg'" I then start laughing uncontrolably.

"I might've downed her. Take your shot!" I then quickly backpedal away from Abigail.

 

The sound of a bird can be heard from the trees, it pauses every so often and changes it's source and sound.

 

I shout out into the trees, "Artemis, we are doing this in the name of self-defense!"

 

The ground now seems to be shaking slightly.

"Now is the moment to apologize, before your soul is torn apart. This much energy has to go somewhere, you know."

 

Green, glowing orbs begin to appear between the trees. One appears next to Rob.

The bird sounds continue, only stopping to let out a series of notes briefly.

A volley of arrows begin to rain down upon you, and tress sprout up around you. The dense fog returns.

 

I whisper to Luphyx, "Don't you think we can spare her if she apologizes? I mean, if we kill her, we have Aj and Artemis to deal with, and then Rineth and Ihra, and then Riihs, and maybe even 13-WATCH OUT! Artemis is joining in the fight. Its now or never to spare her."

I quickly backpedal away from the orb, fearing it will explode. "Artemis! We don't want to kill her! Or at least I don't!"

I whisper to Luphyx, "Don't worry, I'm not ditching you."

 

The orb dissipates, and a green energy flows into you. You feel refreshed.

"Go collect the orbs! They'll make you feel nice!" A voice reminiscent of Artemis' echoes in your mind.

The bird sounds continue; they sound rather soothing.

 

I shake my head. "No no no no no! I'm not falling for THAT" I then roll out of the way and start backpedaling away from the orbs.

 

The arrows burn to ash upon nearing me.

I shrug. "Well, you had your chance."

I raise my poleaxe high into the air, then send it crashing down. The following blast is brighter than the sun, but eventually the dust clears, revealing....

(Now's the time to say how someone jumped in front of the blow at the last second, or whatever)

 

A puff of green smoke seeps from the ground. It's rather...hypnotising.

"The orbs are magical, go collect as many as you can!" The sweet voice continues.

Artemis quickly carves a flute out of bark and begins to play a nice tune.

A green, transparent figure stands there, holding the axe. He doesn't seem happy.

Artemis stops playing her flute, falling from her tree in shock. A pair of vine hands catches her, placing her on the ground gently.

The figure disappears. Your skin begins to itch...
