Concerns With Alkatraz

Alkatraz does thousands of damage per warscream hit which is able to hit you multiple times.


Not the best pic, but as you can see I took 9-10k damage from a single warscream. All the while I have this defence:

So warrior can do tens of thousands of damage with a HUUUUUUUUGE range. Pretty ridiculous.

I hope this raises some concern and will be fixed in the near future. Thank you.

 

What is this warriors build, because that could be affecting his damage

 

We all know where that power comes from...

 

Regardless a warrior should not be able to do this amount of damage with an amazing range and low mana cost.

 

just try and test apocalypse with clock boots and mummy rag .. so overpowered ;-;

 

Mage is op, archer is op, assassin is op, now warrior is op. Make up your minds people, they cant all be.

 

It's moreso the weapon itself, not the class.

 

I dont even consider alkatraz as the second best warrior spear.

 

Sure they can. If they're killing difficult to kill enemies quickly (stupid depressing qira solos), then that class/its items are over powered. Overpowered should not be in relation to other characters, as this game is not PvP centered. It should be more PvE oriented.

 

No one said assassin was op, no one said warrior was op, and archer was kind of in the middle ground.

 

I think the real problem here is how large of a range the damage of a Mythic can be. It kinda draws a line between players who can one-shot and players who cannot one-shot.

 

What build is that? Is it the original posted on the endgame builds thread? (Your tank build) @Geno

 

Im only going by what i see, people lump together everything and say its all overpowered without thinking. If its only good for one thing, then it cant really be that amazing.

I see 5 threads a day saying each class is op. I could give specific links/posts but i wont shame individual people.

 

Its time for Alkatraz users to finally rise up, after years of being oppressed by OP spell damage builds, they will finally show the world who they really are!

I lurk the forums hourly m8, don't go there. Also its given people are going to complain about every class, but the popular complaints are towards mages and archer being too op

Damage wise it definitely is, but I'd like to hear your opinion on what you consider the best. Personally I'm using Guardian to be tank as it's fun.

Alkatraz isnt only good for one thing though, this is simply just addressing the fact that a WARRIOR, a 'melee' oriented class, is able to do this amount of damage with a ridiculous range. And again, this isn't saying the class is overpowered, just the spear when using war scream.
